Bills are 7-4 now not 4-7....The eye test says its not a very good 7-4 nevertheless..There is no way at week 13 or 15 that they will make coaching changes...Thats the reality of it now....If they make any changes it will come when the season ends IMO....Its too early for McD to start releasing the "scapegoats" at this point in the season.

You can't talk money and gloss over how little they've gotten from Christian Benford. He'd be near worthless in free agency this offseason if he continues to have a 110 passer rating against and 0 passes defensed. So his extension is looking like a windfall compared to the one year prove-it deal he'd be looking at at this point. Ed Oliver will only play like 8% of the teams defensive snaps coming off a season when he was one of the very worst run defending DT's in the NFL. Two years into the extension, he's had one bad year and one lost year. Rousseau would easily get the same deal or more than he got from the Bills in free agency this offseason. That's just the nature of DL value. You disagree? If not then you guys are just b!tching at the wall for the sake of it. We can be disappointed that Rousseau hasn't risen up to carry the defense like Allen does with the offense but aside from him nobody else on the Bills does that either. The team lacks elite talent at premium positions but Rousseau is not paid like an elite player. Not even close.

Josh & Cook are reasonably healthy.

This dude has had just an insanely bizarre career. 11 year vet, former 1st round pick, traded 4 times, made over 150+ million in career earnings, and just shy of 10k career receiving yards.

I prefer contracts tied to incentives as too many players completely tail off after getting big $ locked in. Go from performance to doing just barely enough. Oliver was an exception, got his contract and made good on it the year after, too bad about the injuries.

I was just checking a Pats board - there was a TON of celebration about re-taking the AFC East title. They think it's over. So do many here, but I'm not so sure. I'm curious how it goes w/ them & the Bengals tomorrow. Not the toughest game - but it's one of the toughest games on their schedule to this point. Which certainly says a lot.

All valid and fair points. I guess my reply was more around the main thread title will Allen stick around for another rebuild. I personally say yes as I think he likes it here. Also, we have him nailed down regardless how he feels for 8 more yrs. Trust me I hope he plays until 45. I can just see his style of game play lasting another 8 yrs is all.

We're still contenders. We're not TOP contenders - but if you lived through the drought, just being one of those teams that isn't "in the hunt" or worse is pretty good. I remember when the season was WAY over by this time of year. We still have a small shot at the division, and even the 1 seed. I'm not optimistic about either, but nether is unfathomable. I don't think this is "the year" (though you never know). But it wouldn't take too much to make us a top team next year. A good LB, a top tier WR, a safety. We don't have a huge list, despite how things seem right now. I can't wait to have Hoecht for a whole season, playing next to Oliver.

Brady also calls a lot of behind-the - line pass plays. Shakir was targeted there several times during the game. Houston stopped it every time. Not having ever played or studied football, there is much that I miss when I watch a game, but when it's blatant and obvious I can see as well as anyone else.

Because of the odds. 84% I would put up every cent i have to bet on them getting in because of the math alone. There are major flaws on almost every AFC team. It really depends who gets hot and healthy at the right time.

I hate to say it but you know some of the checks we don’t like are josh some agreement here though: when will Anderson was sitting out early downs and coming in on third down we should’ve skipped subs and gotten to the line to keep their own mvp off the field. We don’t maximize our advantages and manage game flow in a way that I love.

Who cares… I want his jersey retired as a Bill along with a SB win. I could care less about Wyoming retiring a QB with a sub 60 completion percentage who had to be completely broken down and rebuilt in Buffalo.
