he missed a lot of time last year, he came in with loads of talent just needed to learn.
-
on the bright side, it wasn’t bosa

Nah, it's just that there are a lot of whining fans on this board

A real P. I. G. 🐷 today. awesome game for him without overextending, thought there was more opportunity for him still on the bone. Solid stuff/playoff type win.

At some point let’s stop running so much zone. We are 7 years past it being figured out so hopefully any day now we are making a switch -
Congrats to Mad Max - his 1st NFL INT is against Mahomes

The speed to stick with Worthy was a huge asset today because he wasn’t a factor at all and the Chiefs were definitely impacted by that in the passing game. -
Probably the same as most: Josh Cook Kincaid Bishop D-line (The three players below combined for 2 sacks, 11 tackles, 10 QB hits, 2 TFLs, and constant pressure, while also not allowing Mahomes out of the pocket---13 QB hits today total by the D-line): Bosa Groot Hoecht (can't believe he got injured, brought so much juice to the defense---and the way Oliver and he were stunting off of each other last week before Ed's injury, just makes me sad that they are both out now, just as our defense was turning the corner). Shout-outs to Reggie Gilliam for being all over the field and helping the ground game go, and to Max for his first career INT (kid looks like he may be the real deal).
-
Hoecht is a big loss if out for the year...couple that with Ed and some others and it's even more so bad. Here's to hoping beane can pull something for an inside rusher that adds potential, cuz hoecht was playing at an amazing level the last 2 games.
-
This is a far bigger story than winning this game. He was that "dawg" type player we've desperately needed on the D-line for years. Absolutely brutal.
-
Hairston changed the dynamic of this defense. Bose played out of his mind. front 4 were great all day except…. 4th and 17 and the defense gives up 29 yards…. Of course mahommes goes to lead a td drive and why wouldn’t a bills kicker miss a game tying/putting game out of reach fg?

Can’t wait to see some all 22 of him. Post it when you find it. -
I sure did see the potential connection, unfortunately even if unrelated, it invites uncomfortable speculation….

We can discuss "special" when he wins postseason games and/or wins a league MVP. I don't wish him bad things. Obviously. But the hype this kid is getting is unbearable. -
Josh always outplays mahomes. Not since 2019 maybe has mahomes outplayed him
-
We’ll miss Hoechst when he moves inside. A lot.

How in the world are you mad at McDermott right now? That was a resume piece. -
He’s looked like the player we were hoping for when we drafted him, which is without a doubt one of the best receiving tight ends in the league. He still needs more snaps and more targets.
-
Epinesa did have a strong game today. I suppose it's too much to ask that he play that way the rest of the season, or that the light will turn on for Landon Jackson.
-
He balled out tonight. Stay tuned for more. 6 catches in 6 targets. Balling

So what you are saying is that even the best don't always handle pressure well? -
They just lost their best defensive player for the year and one of their only two big FA acquisitions for the year in back to back weeks, at the same position group, which happens to be the 2nd most important group on the field after QB. That's light years beyond the "part of the game" expectation.
-
I think you have to look at the strength and training program at some point. It’s too many.

The chiefs needed like 4-5 super man plays from Mahomes just to stay in this game. I don’t think the Bills got more than the flip pass out of Allen. He stayed within the play script this entire game. That is incredible game planning and execution against a team with a better roster
