  2. In his first seven years (college and pro), Dalvin Cook had 1,693 touches. In his first seven years (college and pro), James Cook has 927 touches. [At Jimbo's rate over his first 7 seasons (927 touches divided by 7), he averaged 132 touches per year. With Dalvin's 1,693 touches at Jimbo's 132 touches per year, that would equal 5.8 more seasons of touches for Dalvin, at Cook's rate...or almost 13 years worth of touches (rather than 7) at James' touch count.] In year two and three in the pros, James Cook averaged 260 touches/season. In years three to six in the pros, Dalvin Cook was averaging 314 touches/season (Didn't include rookie years because they both started off a bit slow/not representative of the rest of their careers) Plus, with Davis and Johnson sharing the backfield, the Bills never have to overwork Jimbo. Whereas Dalvin was always the main workhorse in his backfield. And the Bills are pretty smart about taking care of their players (not overworking, especially the vets or players coming back from injuries), so there is a good chance that James won't fall off a cliff at 27 like his brother did. Very happy for this signing. Yes, his blitz pickup isn't the best/he doesn't play every down (because we have guys with better skillsets for that), but I don't think you can underestimate a guy who can hit home runs. Sure his batting average might be lower than your lead off hitter, but when he crushes that 3-run homer in the 8th inning of a playoff game, you know why you have him and why the team is paying him what they are. Go Bills!
  3. Not sure how reliable Stat Muse is, but here are career Pass Catch %’s: Saquan Barkley 73% James Cook: 78% Christian McCafferey: 80%
  4. Very optimistic Keon will be more valuable to US We have Shakir already, an elite slot, even if Keon doesn't become elite but at least very good, it'll mean more to this roster We have someone that can do what Ladd does, we don't have a Keon
  5. 😆😂 I love Paul Maguire! He is hysterical. I loved when he used to call the games- pure comedy!
  6. Buffalo area. Rochester. Sorry
  7. I've called it out elsewhere, but McConkey's hand size is an issue in buffalo. It might not be an issue in a dome, but 8 1/2 inch hands in buffalo where its wet and snowy - is a concern.
  8. I'm totally with you on points 4 and 5. It isnt for lack of trying to get Josh weapons. We just cant seem to get the right ones. My abstract point was, using hindsight, packaging our 2 1sts to trade UP for a WR would have been better than what we got. And also keeping in mind we traded UP for Kincaid. Even though it's hindsight, it still supports a lot of posters who were banging the table for a LEGIT WR like BTJ. Not a TE turned WR, and not a basketball player turned WR. No, but we cant bash Cook anymore since he re-signed, so we've moved on to the next whipping boy.
  9. Well, I'll take the bait and explain. I was based there for years and flew widebodies from O'hare to Europe and back. O'hare arrrival corridors are corridors are set up like a lot of other large intl airports in the US. There are four "cornerposts" where the arrival approaches are funnelled. Your post is mostly correct, but the cornerposts are northeast, and the arrival over the lake, Southeast, with the arrival starting in Indiana, Southwest, a bit north of St. Louis, and west/northwest. Arrivals are sequenced over those cornerposts and the time splits coordinated so when you get turned over from the high altitude sector to O'hare approach, the sequencing is set up to make approach control's job easier. From each setup, airplanes are directed to one of two active runways. Easr arrivals use one runway and west another. Works pretty well. Actually, O'hare is the best controlled airport on earth, in my view. Did my retirement trip from there to Beijing and back, and got the water cannon salute from the O'hare fire dept at gate arrival. Regarding your comment on the waypoint names, the standard is that they are five letters, so they play with consonants to make that work. In your post, the FNT WYNDE3, would be pronounced the "Flint Windey three, addressing the windy city moniker. When updated, it would be "flint windey four", and so on. They almost always are created with a local "flavor," thus the Bears stuff. Washington has some interesting ones as well, as do most airports.
  10. I thought Coleman was having a great camp? Has something changed?
  11. More like 90/10 Wouldn’t be so easy to steal them if Kia didn’t sell pieces of junk without security systems that even Mitsu puts in its cars
  12. You don’t even make an argument half the time. Back to the license plate stamping line with you!
  13. Mike Schopp hates it so I love it
  14. One - Keon wasn't a first round pick because of a technicality we moved back 1 spot when Beane already said he was going to take Keon if no, even so it was still our first pick in the draft that we used on a pass catching weapon. Second - I love BTJ, wanted him in the draft too as I thought he was more realistic than Odunze wasn't - BUT...BTJ was not on the board when we picked so doesn't matter. Third - Kincaid was drafted be a receiving threat, his designation on paper is irrelevant, we used that first round pick on a pass catching weapon. Fourth - 3 of the last 6 drafts we used our first pick on a receiving weapon for Allen (Diggs, Kincaid, Keon). Fifth - 4 of our 6 picks in the first 2 rounds for 3 consecutive drafts prior to this year were offensive picks, including Cook who has become a major weapon for us we just extended. All of which are key starters for this offense heading into this season.
  15. To each his own. The next QB that succeeds after going to his mommy and crying in the stands after a loss will be the first. I’m excluding 8-12 year olds of course. Williams was in a D1 university.
  16. i mean Mahomes was the best a few yrs back now it's pretty clearly Allen and Lamar
  17. But we could at least start by packaging those 2 picks. Which in fairness means we're looking at the WRs in the 2023 draft, not BTJ and 2024. So 2023 #25 and our 2024 1st (which was #28). Maybe we couldve moved up and got Zay Flowers or Jaxon Smith-Njigba. I realize this. My point was packaging (at least) 2 picks to move up to get him. Would have been worth trading both those 1sts to get him imo, compared to what we ended up with. Maybe, but BTJ has impressed on the crappy Jags with Lawrence throwing to him. Sky is the limit in Buffalo compared to that. Either way, just sayin...
  18. Yes, let's give up on our second round pick because of some minor injuries early in his career.
  19. DaQuan Jones is not from Buffalo ... You also forgot to list Isaiah McDuffie who starred at Boston college , and Bennett high School in Buffalo and is now starting with the Packers You also forgot Jim Dombrowski who is a college football Hall of famer and on the saints Wall of Fame Even comparing Wyoming as a HS football state to Buffalo as a high school football city is really not comparable Buffalo area has ties to Major division 1 schools like Pittsburgh and Penn State and Syracuse and Boston college and has helped step up New York State as a high school football state into the top 25 Buffalo area put out like four or five division one players last year Wyoming put out like 5 the entire state One city and its surrounding suburbs puts out as many division 1 football players as a state
  20. The story has been updated. Robinson is fine.
  21. Eh your saying in 4 years your profit is 100 mil just by existing. That is pretty dang good.
  22. The many expressions of James Cook: "James, sorry we can't extend you right now" "Okay, 4 years, 40 million. Happy?" "Land ahoy!!!"
