  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder if Shaq is willing, able, and slotted to play special teams. Dude is like a ghost of a player.
  3. No the Bills don't hold all the cards. Cook is essential to this team competing for a Super Bowl. The drop off from Cook to Davis is significant. I suspect the deal gets down sooner than later.
  4. Well played....on a serious note there is a 0% chance Spector makes this team.
  5. What Are the Odds: Cincinnati Journo Just HAPPENS to Find PRISTINE KKK Flyer While Out for a Walk Amy Curtis The timing of this seems so incredibly ... convenient that this writer is laying down the marker now: this is a hoax. Probably perpetrated by the guy who just so happened to 'stumble across' a KKK flyer in a city that is in the spotlight for a racially-motivated attack. https://twitchy.com/amy-curtis/2025/08/04/cincinnati-kkk-flyer-nick-swartsell-n2416727 It's a testament to the success of wokeness that even the local KKK has calmed its rhetoric enough to use the phrase, "those of COLOR".
  6. Roundybout responded to this with a laughing emoji. Is there anything else a person would need to know about him in order to form an opinion? Sick.
  7. 10Mil/yr is more than generous. Dude can't even block. THIS is why you draft a RB every year so you have a stable full of runners. same w/ WRs too.
  8. Perhaps, Buffalo can bring McDaniel some happiness by allowing him to experience yet again the figurative death of yet another year of failure to become AFC East champions or beat Buffalo in the playoffs.
  9. If he plays like a younger Jordan Phillips like his first go round with the Bills and can sustain that play for a few years that's not going to be a bad thing at all !!
  10. Old friends, old friends Sat on their park bench like bookends A newspaper blown through the grass Falls on the round toes Of the high shoes of the old friends
  11. Today
  12. I always heard it is cheaper to live in the western burbs than eastern ones for what thats worth. Plus your closer to Buffalo. Good luck!
  13. @Simon, glad we could get another thread for the same topic / posts regurgitated all off season lol 😆 Since we're all here to repeat ourselves, Ill take my turn....Cook deserves a lucrative 2nd deal with us. What is fair? Thats the million $ question. 18 TDs, explosive back who can make house calls from 75+, and young/ascending. How many NFL backs have that resume? A handful yes. The OL last year was very good, not great IMO. Cook created top 5 yards after contact --- by all statistical metrics (ahead of Saquon, who had more yards before being touched). Im hoping Beane can find a way to keep him under contract - 3 yr extension for $42m/26m gtd...maybe that gets it done. Bijan and Gibbs are going to raise the RB pay bar next year, it'd be smart to lock up the contract prior to then --- Im not expecting 18 TDs again, but think Cook can produce 12-14 and be more of an integral piece of passing game.
  14. New era is going so nutty w the designs and 5th panel, they reel in the actual design. See ASG warm up caps. New head wants to push the envelope as to what can be worn on field.. imo, its kind of annoying
  15. Let’s just gerrymander the crap out of every state, whenever politicians want to, to make democracy a complete farce and then just maybe, there will be some reforms. In my opinion, gerrymandering is the root of the problem which has created our dysfunctional democracy. With computer analysis, it is so easy to do vs decades ago.
  16. I’m not talking about what players say or think. I’m simply sayin* that itsNOT in their best interest for other players on their team to get max contracts. Unless they want to make less themselves. Its just math. It’s a zero sum game.
  17. Wth did I just read about Johnson, lol? If hes on the roster and a plan for 2025. Is this AI written? Keon will be moved around regardless of Shakir. I dont think Shakir will miss the game/snaps though. I fully expect Bmore to be aggressive and make us throw on early downs with single high looks, funnel coverage inside. Going to take 1-2 explosive plays outside the hashes to Keon or Palmer....going to be a dog fight all night with their secondary.
  18. Tre makes sense as a player they'd focus on, his personality here was always the type you'd call a national treasure, that combined with the way the story of his career has gone, it's a no brainer.
  19. Im guessing beane is ok with this but only on a short term contract. It's money X length and I don't know if beane can get to where cook wants. I don't envy him, I'm guessing he's made smart offers.
  20. One of my real joys being a Bills fan in Florida was watching Jimmy Johnson as coach of Miami strip Dan Marino of all his talented offensive players, flop over and over at getting a running back, and overspend on a good defense that never delivered championships. One of my great dreads is if some fans on this board get their way- and we let guys like James Cook go, and never get a #1 receiver, because we believe Josh Allen is the only dynamic player we need on offense (OL complicates things -they offer talent but they are not dynamic). James Cook scored 16 td's last year and demonstrated the only big-play capability we had besides Allen himself. We can't chuck him away casually because "culture" or "honor the contract" or any other ideas we often arbitrarily throw at players. That is, if we want a Superbowl. I know I want a Superbowl. He's also not Derrick Henry or Saquan Barkley. He doesn't get 20 million a year. If the Bills say 10 mil they are lowballing, if he says 20 he is unreasonable. 15 million may still be too rich for my taste. 12.5 million.
  21. Long time Brady hater, but I always respected & defended him when people would downplay his success. Everything he said here lines up exactly with what we saw on the field. People sometimes talked about him like he was just good with timing routes, but the reality was he knew where he wanted to go before snapping the ball. If that wasn't there, he knew exactly where everyone else was. His internal clock was nearly perfect too, and if a play took a bit too long to develop, he'd just get rid of the ball. He wasn't athletic enough to try & extend plays too long, but he sure knew how to move around in the pocket. What's most impressive to me is the fact he always maintained that same desire to win, regardless of how much success he had. Even when he already tied Joe Montana & Terry Bradshaw for most SB wins by a QB, something that wasn't supposed to be possible in the free agency era, he wasn't satisfied. Even when he was alone at the top of the record books with 5 SB wins, he went on to win another. In one QB generation he took the Pats from a 0 SB win franchise to tied with the Steelers for most all time. Then he won a 7th. Winning 5 or 6 rings was supposed to be an NBA thing & not possible in the NFL. That's why despite how much I hated him as an opponent, I'm still glad I got to watch him. Only wish we could've been the ones to face off with him in the Super Bowl when he went to Tampa Bay.
  22. Next man up - this is why Beane builds depth and doesn't go all in. What are we overly concerned with as of now, WR/CB? IMO, Josh, Dion and Benford are most important starters - all healthy. Not to mention we aren't facing any season long injuries as of now. Week 1 is going to be a battle, fully healthy or not. We need Josh to be on point, and a couple stops on defense. Shakir missing preseason and Hairston falling behind in reps, doesnt move the needle --- keep the "core" mostly healthy and we are a difficult team, with our depth.
  23. Relax. It's a joke.
