What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
Chicharito replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
September 8 1991 Bills vs. Steelers . I was 10 years old. My grandmother took me to the game . I remember it being very hot. Don Beebe catches 4 Td’s. We beer them 52-34. Reason this is my favorite is because I had to have my appendix removed the next day. I have always blamed it on Polish sausage we ate before the game and still won’t eat it. -

Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?
DCofNC replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t want to judge too much until I see the new D hit the field, that COULD change a lot. At this point, I think Baltimore is the biggest problem with a physical running game, explosive if not great passing game and a D that seemed to have the Bills in check. They beat themselves in the playoffs, honestly I feel there was more luck there than a better team winning. KC is always something and Cinci is going to score, there isn’t a lot that’s going to be easy. -
Pic is too big to load. But @sirebors are you ok? You’ve been digging through my posts for the last week. Is there anything I can help you with? 182 throw up reacts on a Saturday night is a little much.

I have not read the paper much the last 30 years since I moved away. But I once read an article he wrote somewhere around 94 or 95 in which he made reference to the jets record the previous year which was incorrect. It was kind of insignificant but a portion of his article was null because of it. I confirmed his error and then wrote him an email and he actually responded in a way that was very professional and acknowledged his error. I appreciated his candidness and always liked how he wrote. -

Yeah that's why he needs congress to fix his mess. And they are not fired yet, they are sitting home getting parted to not work. Last I checked it's better to have people work for their pay. But donny two dolls is playing 4d chess. More like he is eating the chess pieces. -
Your bullish it excuses about who Donny two dolls is trolling isn't flying anymore brother. But but but. Deflection at its finest.

Thanks, Chan. That was (just a tad) before I was aware of the Bills, but did anyone in Buffalo actually refer to Jack Kemp as "Jackie" back then, or was that just a highlight-reel thing? Also, my brothers and I sure didn't care for Joe Namath back in the day (with his shaving cream and panty-hose commercials and all that, LOL), but I have to admit -- he did throw a nice ball.

During the Jets' Super Bowl winning year in 1968, the Bills defense intercepted Joe Namath five times, including three pick-sixes, as Buffalo upset the Jets 37–35 for its only win that year. This was an incredible performance in an otherwise dismal year. -
I really like our draft as a whole. And though I think Dorian Strong will end up being our diamond in the rough, I REALLY liked this pick, especially where we were able to grab him. We now have two mammoth human beings that will be lining up at bookends on the DL for years to come. At 6'6", 264lbs, with 33" arms, even when he doesn't get to the QB, he will certainly disrupt passing lanes. Fact of the matter is though, for a guy his size, he's quite twitchy and nimble out there. He also converts speed to power well, and will absolutely manhandle opposing blockers. He also plays the run well. It will be interesting to see our rotation this year. I expect Jackson to see a lot of work on early downs, and Bosa in more clear passing situations. I also think the staff wants to get to the Playoffs with a healthy as possible Bosa so they can turn him loose. This DE group could be the best we've had in a long time if everyone stays healthy, that's not even counting PED boy.

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
MasterStrategist replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing wrong with hoping. I think he lacks the strength to win the way he did in college, at thr NFL level. That said, he'll develop and think our offseason coaching additions were geared toward knowing we'd attack DL and secondary in the draft. I'm keep expectations at a reasonable level, it's the crazy expectations that fans set that get people fired up when said Player needs more development after year 1. We've seen that story on here ALOT....zero patience, set super high expectations immediately: Bernard, Cook, Shakir, Coleman and Kincaid will be the next to take a huge leap -

Yes and Bryce Paup was a 6th rounder of Green Bay iirc. -
I had a similar discussion with a Bills fan I met. We both have the same optimistic feeling that this could be the year. Josh has continued to improve, to become more efficient. Our defense could be the best we have had in the last to or three years. This is not a prediction, just a positive vibe. Go Bills!!!

Lol!! The Jet's new $400,000 a year rookie QB Joe Namath. To put that in perspective now, Caleb Williams made about $580,000 per game as a rookie QB.

Speaking of reverence and institutions—-your guy sends armed agents to search his political opponents home, perform a 10 hour search, gather documents outside the scope of an investigation, selectively leak to influence public opinion, all while sitting on his own vast treasure trove of classified documents gathered illegally over a lifetime in politics. This forces his supporters to confront their own version of hypocrisy and selective moral/institutional ambivalence, one of many times they will be forced to do so. -

Bills/49ers. Two teams, no punts. -
Wrist injuries are really tough because there are a bunch of bones floating together there. if little chips are loose they are painful off and on. If it is a clean arm or tibia break, that will heal nicely, but a wrist is a problem.

Epenesa looked strong like that before the Bills asked him to lose weight and he lost too much. By the time he got to "optimal," his signature power was gone. Now he's neither particularly strong nor quick. He's more of a high-effort, "blue-collar" guy who can bat the ball down. I sometimes wonder how he would have turned out if they had let him be. At least he could have set the edge, something he doesn't do well now. If Jackson and Solomon develop and Walker is better on the edge (talk about power and quickness), Epenesa could be the odd man out in 2026.

Very short term memory, this past year on MNF vs the Jags or the Lions game Longer term The McCoy Snow game Lions Thanksgiving game -
Only fitting that the game ended on a Trent Edwards dump-off pass. That defines an era.
