Gonna see Jimmy Ciarlo getting the call up for a couple of games for ST reps. Shaq Thompson moves into the primary backup role -
Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?
Simon posted a topic in The Stadium Wall
COuple notes on yesterday: > He wasn't horrible for being tossed into a starting role unexpectedly when Milano went down, although he still has issues with angles and tackling at times. He actually had a pass defended, which may be the first one ever in his career. He also had my favorite play of the game. After he got called for roughing on the sideline while Benford was holding a guy up (the refs screwed up the number on the penalty) watch what he does on what I think was the very next snap; Babich sent him up the A-gap and I think it was Breece Hall that tried to pick him up. It did not go well for Breece. If you have access, it's worth finding that play just to watch what Williams does to him. > How long is Taron out? The Bills might be even more inclined to run more base nickel rather than try Andreesen or a hobbled Shaq Thompson in the 4-3 they've been flirting with the first couple weeks. > We're flirting with that situation with missing starters on every level of the defense again; you can get away with missing a guy here and there, but this stuff becomes exponentially harder to handle when it gets to be cumulative like this. You can do things defensively to hide soft spots, but those options become extremely limited as those soft spots multiply. > Thoughts? -

Why do we try to name everything every year. Let's wait until the season ends and hopefully call them champs!

Dude reminds me a lot of Josh McDaniel from what I've heard...his attitude, the rumors of how he thinks he is smarter than everyone and the way he is a D-Bag to everyone, etc...

It is bonkers that Cleveland let Mayfield slip through their fingertips

I think you just have to play full speed to be safe. I’m sure he has one more gear in January but you’ve got to be playing pretty close 100% if you are on the field -

Defense is a word that has no meaning tonight.

I assume it's because Dolphins get harvested by Japan, and haiku is Japanese poetry.

It sure as hell isn't.

Need Evans to have a lousy night to save my fantasy game. Looking forward to seeing that rookie WR play too

Which is the first game we will lose this season?
Max Fischer replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand this is a fun exercise, but the recent spate of injuries on the Bills and other teams demonstrates that this is still a week-to-week league. Assuming Milano's injury isn't more than three weeks, the Bills have been "lucky" to avoid devastating injuries to key players. IF they stay healthy, I think the Bills will be favored in every remaining game this season. That's always a big IF. -
Cool, let’s do the McD, Playoff thread, bla bla bla again.
