  1. Past hour
  2. My guess is this is to cover a 'fake slide' but I don't know that I like that .... it inputs (more) subjectivity, as a ref could at any time can say someone is simulating a slide. If you want to delay a slide or fake slide, you can get popped. So I like that the rule gives you the progress where a non-foot falls, and not when you "start" your slide. It helps remove the benefit of doing a fake slide but continuing on, as it's not something that refs are (currently) trying to police for.
  3. I forget who but someone did report that he was ejected by security.
  4. Somebody upthread wrote that he thought the Bills were in the Ravens' heads. I don't think that it's the Bills in the Ravens' heads; it's the Ravens in their own heads, including Harbaugh's. In critical games against good teams, especially in the playoffs, the Ravens seem to be their own worst enemy. Lamar fumbles and/or throws interceptions. Reliable veteran receivers drop what should be easy catches. Henry, who hardly ever fumbles, fumbles. Harbaugh, who's actually a great coach, makes questionable play calls.
  5. I hope some of those who study the All 22 do some analysis of Daquan, too. It seems like a big factor in Ed's production is an effective Daquan (even though Daquan doesn't show up on the stat sheet). Might he be back to something close to pre-injury form? I didn't notice him...but that's typical.
  6. Enter a speedster like Zay Flowers...
  7. I’d love to know what was going on with that play in the third(?) quarter, when Bishop seemingly attempted to blitz Jackson from the Canadian border. It was very odd.
  8. The Jets gave the Steelers a game but the Jets are NO Ravens. We should be able to handle the Jets fairly easily.
  9. Agree....another huge play under the radar was Dalton's catch with :01....we needed every point we could get.
  10. @MJS this is what I have. ”To summarize, passing that doesn’t end in a scramble or a spike has a 0.28% injury rate, designed runs 0.64%, scrambles 0.87%, sacks 1.4%, and knockdowns are 1.56%” https://www.fantasypoints.com/nfl/articles/season/2021/mobile-quarterbacks-and-injury-rates
  11. It was a joke.
  12. Haven't the Jets beat us down at their Stadium the past two years?
  13. It’s funny cuz one of the most famous two pointer principles is you’re probably not gonna fail on two (especially when one starts on the 1 yard line) yet we sure did 😂. Kinda got hosed on the first one though
  14. Does he still have the Buffalo shaved into his hairdo?
  15. Thanks for this. And you're exactly right. Logically and statistically, McD made the right decision on the first two-pointer. When it failed anyway, he was forced to go for the subsequent 2-pointers. Each decision was rational by itself. But we failed on each of them so hindsight says it would have been better to kick all those EPs.
  16. Rapp looked like a football player that did not have a very good game. I am not a Rapp fan at all, but he is best safety on the Bills. Bishop looked like a guy that did not belong on the field. He looks confused out there and plays tentative. He looks too small to be a safety. I just dont see anything that points to him just being a guy that needs reps. Hopefully I am wrong.
  17. I agree, and I need to pitch in the huge difference in Safety, when you compare i.e. Rapp, to Hamilton, when he was coming off the locker and looked like a TE in height
  18. Hahaha I straight up confused myself replying to this and had to delete it twice…wasn’t that the missed two pointer where the ravens had too many men moving us up to the 1? I’ve definitely seen teams go for that in all spots. There were so many two pointers that I was thinking of a later one initially lol pretty good shot you get the 2 pointer and if you don’t there’s time to get another in a game where the ravens are scoring at will and you gotta figure out some way to maybe steal a possession somewhere down the road
  19. If you're actually a fan, you shouldn't leave a game early ever.
  20. All my friends know the low rider (yeah) The low rider is a little higher (yeah) The low rider drives a little slower Low rider is a real goer
  21. That's something that the coaches will have to weigh But if there's not much time left in a game.. and you got no timeouts and you're going quick down the field you might just be able to get to the 38 or 40.. so it might be 55 to 59 occasionally If you can adjust your offense to where you're only trotting out the kicker at 50 and below... And you might be going for it on 4th and ones or 4th and twos from the 40 That can potentially work Again the only drawback is if you have to trot out your kicker from 57 for the win... We might have to be throwing a hail Mary at that point which Tyler Bass from 57 is still much higher possibility than a hail Mary Also maybe he gets some strength back in his leg and maybe in a week or two he can hit from 57
  22. The Jets looked like a competent team versus the Steelers. They seem better coached than any Jet game I saw last year. That's a low bar, but the Jets had a good chance to win.
  23. Well I hope Beane waits till a bit closer to the end of the season than very soon 1 game. does not a season make it's a long way to the end especially if they go to the play offs which I'm thinking they will again ... I'm sure if Bosa stays healthy and his production stays the same or gets a bit better that Beane will be talking to him .
  24. I bet that kid watches games on illegal streams. I know the type. No morals.
  25. The answer is both. The Ravens opened the door when they shouldn’t have and the Bills executed down the stretch to win it
