  1. Past hour
  2. Some guy on the New England Patriot board made a simular comment last week 😙
  3. Some things you just can’t unsee…..
  4. I'd like to know how much the Bills invest in scouting their next opponent. If I were them, I'd put a whole squad on prepping for games down the road, especially important ones. I'd hire a dedicated expert on every divisional opponent studying tendencies, even monitoring fan forums like this. I'd also have a working group, not just one person, on quality control, studying the Bills patterns as much or more than the opponent will. The personnel needn't all be top people; a bunch of smart, eager interns could come up with all sorts of valuable intel. Sometimes I think this forum knows more than the Bills coaches. Somehow, I don't think this is happening. My guess is that the team has one or two scouts and one quality-control person. Anyone know for sure?
  5. If the Bills pass on Coleman and the Pats take them, are the Pats still leading the division today?
  6. "hot streak"? they had 1 quality win over Detroit and were off to their worst start since 2021. Burrow had played in 3 games, finished 2 of them and averaged 150 YPG and completed 55% of his passes, 4 TDs. That's not "a high level". Ok, sure Lamar was a top 4 QB this year in week 1. Then he wasn't again. Burrow played 1 game "at a high level" then literally threw the win away twice, on successive plays. The topic is "current" top 4 QBs. None of those 3 are currently. Read the title of the thread....
  7. no, it wasn’t in haste. Cook could run for the 3rd all time highest rushing total in franchise history, which is a pretty big deal. I’m responding to what people didn’t understand and what I was trying to say. My main point hasn’t changed at all. I didn’t misstate it and it wasn’t in haste. It was just some people took it as me stating Cook is better than OJ, which I never did.
  8. Agree. You can get a lot more value picking for positions like nickel, safety, and running back in the third, fourth, and fifth rounds that you can looking for defensive line, which is Beane's fixation. Instead of a backup, which is all Solomon, Carter, and Jackson will ever be. Yes, you can hit on a Walker once in awhile, but you're playing the long shot instead of the more sure thing.
  9. No one here gets out alive
  10. yea, even if he stays healthy if he costs us 6 games of benford or bishop that could be hugely negative and he’s laid a lot of hits on teammates.
  11. Kincaid draws coverage in a way that leaves Knox/Hawes wide open. This needs to be exploited.
  12. It's the Modelo recruiter's asst.
  13. Though I'm not completely dismissing this season, next year looks promising, especially if they make finding an elite receiver a priority, and land one. They'll need to address the aging nickel and safety positions, but WR has to be the top target. With the return of their injured D-linemen (hopefully Hoecht can return for the regular season), and maturity of 2nd and 3rd year players like Hairston, Bishop, Carter, Soloman, Sanders, Walker, Strong, Hancock, Jackson*, etc., they should be in good shape if they can shake the injury bug. They have a solid OL and good reserves. A very good TE group. With a couple of key additions through FA and the draft, I look for them the be a dominating team next season. The roster, when healthy, is far from being a disaster, and there's great optimism for next year when they christen their new home. *I'm really pulling for Jackson, but not convinced he's going to be an impact player.
  14. Yeah, I changed my mind. 8 million and change is peanuts in the grand scheme of things, so, yeah, the option will be picked up.
  15. Who took the video?
  16. One of the best talents, I grant you. But he never was or will be a great player for the very reasons we agree are his strong suits: grit and willpower. Both disappear if he's not in the mood to play, much like Pickens. He made that spectacular catch in Minnesota, but too often he disappeared in the clutch for the Bills, most notably in the 13-second game and in 2023, when he literally dropped the ball. No Hall of Fame votes from me. I'll remember him as a shot of adrenaline to the team and a critical piece of Allen's development, but also as a peevish, choke diva. I agree he'll show up on Sunday. He thrives on spite.
  17. Back in my day, a cars owner's manual explained how to clean the lifters and how to properly dial in the timing system.......today's owner's manuals tell you to not drink the battery fluid, so i guess every generation has their "thing". If people "get off" on 67, whatever, man.........at least back in my day, 69 actually meant something.
  18. ⬆️ I can't get enough of dancing for Billsfannc on the edge of the abyss. It's a priority right alongside the business I need to run. - teef
  19. do whatever you need to do to get through the day. reality can be difficult, and some avoid it rather than process it. up to you.
  20. I am a big Cam guy, but only because basically for a 3rd string player, he actually will make some good plays. I have been clamoring for the last several years for the Bills to use a highish pick on Taron’s replacement. That Taron role is basically the most important role on the defense.
