Tony Romo -“It’s like Nick Sabans Alabama teams against MTSU”

Agree. Just look at this game as an example. There’s a thread on here about Milano getting hurt. They didn’t even mention it. People wonder why the game was boring? It’s partly because the announcers did a terrible job of keeping anyone the slightest bit interested. Really bad broadcasting. -

All this talk of trade for so and so, and Matt cant stay healthy/so and so predicted this. Wow, we dont even know the extent of injury yet. He was fitted for a brace at halftime and stayed dressed. Maybe he misses a game, maybe its more serious, but the obvious thing isnt to jump to worst case scenario yet (like alot seem to be). -

Was watching All-22 of the first half of Jets game. My random thoughts: Wilson beat Benford for solid gain on 3rd down in Jets first drive but Field missed him completely. Javon Solomon lined inside on 3rd and longs couple times. On his first carry on 3&2 Ray Davis went wrong direction and instead hitting a hole for 5-15y gain he ran to the wall for 1y. He was fine on 4th down. Brown and Torrence are amazing blockers. On Josh's first grounding he had Palmer open enough imo for the TD but it required perfect ball placement and Josh didn't pull the trigger. Cook running was a piece of beauty. Knox and Kincaid back to back drops less so. Sam Franklin knows his ST tackles lol. Josh was a little of in the 1st Q, he missed open Shavers and then Kincaid TD, but the latter was not an easy throw. On Hall's single longer run both Milano and Bernard were blocked but then Hall met Bishop who was in perfect position. Other than that, both Milano and Bernard had good games. So did Cam Lewis and Dorian Williams imo. Really sucks that Milano was injured again. Trubisky was hero of the day with that throw to Palmer when Josh got hurt. The line blocked really well too. Walker and Sanders were good. Nothing flashy, but just solid work. Sanders was close to a sack. I liked what I saw from Coleman. Couple good catches, his OPI was close, and he had one really good scramble drill where Josh just pump faked instead of throwing to him and it was a mistake, could've been nice gain. -

Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
3rdand12 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
So would you have done it ? For the Bills , I would have and actually hoped for it. After Garrett , then Crosby or Hendrickson dream fever lol. If he has as much of a disruptive season as he has so far ? It's a Win Unless he pulls a Von Miller ( no harm meant Von ) and gets injured early onto the contract with a serious injury. Would you have made the deal Alpha ?? 😇 -

Another Jenkins call up for Thursday I'm sure. Ciarlo waiting in the wings and I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Lewis Cine signed to the practice squad - just released from the Eagles IR. -
Hawes is not too bad for a guy picked at the end of the 5th round. Like Knox, you can get guys like that a bit later than you might think who don’t have big college numbers, but they have what it takes. I think Hawes is looking very good so far on what I’ve watched closely.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Ya Digg? replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I 100% believe that you are in the minority of people saying they don’t know who he is. I believe most of them are playing this weird bravado game-makes them feel more manly because Green said something against Josh -

I'm sure I will get emotional walking in. Dreamt of it since I was a little kid. -
Still better than having too many on a missed fg

I can’t believe the moderators haven’t intervened. No one has mentioned that Hawes went to Yale or that Karl Malone is his illegitimate father. I very much disappointed.

Agree, he's doing much better than expected at catching passes. Guessing it was one of these thing where they never asked him to catch passes so nobody thought he could do it, I'm guessing even the Bills may be a bit surprised by it . Plus great blocker. Will make for an interesting decision as to what to do with Knox at YE as his cap hit next year is high from what I recall reading And yes Kincaid has got better at blocking.

AI response: When a team plays on the road for Thursday Night Football (TNF), its weekly schedule is compressed and travel is expedited to account for the short turnaround. The priority is on rest and mental preparation, since a full week's worth of physical practice is not possible. Short-week travel schedule (Sunday game to TNF) The following schedule details the typical week for a team playing a Sunday game and then traveling for a Thursday night game. Sunday: The team plays its Sunday game and then flies immediately home afterward, even for late games. Monday: Players report to the team facility for a light workout, physical rehabilitation, and film review of the Sunday game. This is normally a full off-day during a typical week. Tuesday: The coaches work on the new game plan, while players are given the day off. Injured players receive treatment. Wednesday: In a normal week, this is a heavy practice day for the installation of the game plan. On a short week, Wednesday is the final day of practice, and the team will use a charter flight to travel to the game's host city. Thursday: Players have a morning walk-through at the hotel. The team travels to the stadium for the evening game. After the game, the team flies directly back home. -
Who would you rather start vs the Jets? Tre’Davious or Strong
3rdand12 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
So far so good Tre. He was having a ball Sunday. Saw some solid play from him ! and he played the run willingly 🤠 Had to look , who's 27 ? Secondary looked good. But i suggest it was because the Dline was fired up against a god O line of the Jets !! go bills -

Are you even a Bills fan? -
Absolutely love this kid, especially the way he attacks defenders with his blocking. It’s violent, purposeful, and his mechanics/technique is spot on at the POA. I really enjoy watching him. Can just tell that he loves the game of football, and that translates to his play on the field. Wish we had more of him.

I never hailed Ben Johnson as the savior, but to think in two weeks we can say what he might have done here is a bit much. They still have a meddling QB, not the reigning MVP. It's a weird victory lap 8 months later is all, I mean, are we going to celebrate the failure of every new HC to validate our regime? I'm really happy with the way the season has started. Hopefully we can get actual validation in the form of a deeper playoff run vs a rookie head coaches 0-2 record.

Even IF what he said was strictly directed at the violent homeless and mentally ill people, such as the man that slaughtered the Ukrainian refugee woman; that still is a horrible thought. To advocate for involuntary lethal injections for the mentally ill displays a level of compassion that is right there with those that are celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. If someone is mentally ill, they by definition aren't fully in control of their actions, and therefore should not be made to forfeit the rest of their natural life for whatever it is that person is accused of. The person on the left in that discussion suggested that these people need to be institutionalized if they are a danger to those around them (not the exact words, but the sentiment) AND they refuse treatments / medicines that can keep the true mental illness under check. That is a reasonable position to take. How to actually implement something like that would require far more discussion and nuance before implementing it; but it can be considered particularly if we're looking at stuff like schizophrenia to be the mental illness and not conservativism or liberalism to be the mental illness. Kilmeade apologized for the comments he made. Hopefully they were a misspeaking in the moment that went horribly awry; but even if they were, he should consider himself very fortunate if he still has a job in front of the camera.
