  1. Past hour
  2. Haters gonna hate! It was McD that swallowed the whistle on that flagrant non-call of pass interference. The no-call occurred late in the game on a third-down incompletion intended for Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir. The missed call: Many observers believed that Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez made clear contact with Shakir before the ball arrived, which should have resulted in a pass interference penalty. The outcome: No flag was thrown on the play. This forced the Bills to settle for a field goal try, which was missed, instead of getting a first down inside the red zone. Damn him and his best pal Shawn Hochuli.
  3. Man I loved John Brown. Shame he was only good for so short of time.
  4. Maye wasnt down. By pure luck he release a split second before his knee touched. Was he hoping to hit Diggs? I think he was possibly but I seriously believe he was hoping to just get rid of the ball to avoid the loss and got lucky. What bugs me is that the refs by not calling 2 previous throws by Maye into the ground as intentional grounding made that miracle pass much more possible. Maye probably just thought get rid of the ball as close as I can to Diggs to save the field position. And why not try it as the refs are not going to call me for intentional grounding. In any case, Daquon should have closed faster and got to the throwing arm quicker to stop the play. The real culprit of the negative play for the Bills though is Shaq Thompson who whiffs on the tackle of Diggs, followed by the 3 Bills (Benford was one) who stand there instead of trying to meet Diggs before the first down line. Tackling skills and taking the right angle to the ball should be something that a player figures out in high school let alone by the time they turn pro. Yet the Bills and other teams have players that seem to lack this basic skill. Its not like Thompson was tackling AJ Green, DK Metcalf or some other beast of WR. Diggs should have been stopped right there when he caught the ball.
  5. Recovering addict coming up on 6 years here.... Ive done alotta blow. Have made the mistake of doing blow on a work night, and having to work in the morning: both on no sleep and little sleep (even if you get 4 hours, its the most unrestful type that equates to no sleep). Man, few times I did that ALLLLL I wanted to do was be productive as to not draw attention and hide. Last thing on earth you want is to talk to anyone with your jaw going sideways and having to consciously blink your red, desert dry eyes!!!! Its the worst. Doing coke and then jumping on Nat'l TV would be a nightmare, especially on camera intro we see at like 12:57pm of 2 guys talking!!! You basically have it written on your forehead. If this is how dude was rolling, I bet somebody went back through and looked at footage they'd find him very obviously "uncomfortable" during that segment. Side note: in my head its so easy to remember "fun" and feeling good. After a few months clean I developed this ability that anytime I had a craving or errant thought (they still come today), to start replaying the worst moments... like a backwards mental Pavlov's Dog
  6. Why would you watch a movie or read a fiction based book?
  7. The Bills need a WR on the outside that can separate consistently. Kincaid has been a nice target but he's not an outside separator and Keon's just not that boundary WR just yet and may just be more of a contested catch guy. Shakir is more of a zone breaker slot WR and Palmer's competent by far from dynamic. Samuel is more of a gadget guy. If it were up to me I would strongly be in the market for a Chris Olave trade. The Bills if they were to have a WR core of Olave/Keon on the outside Shakir in the slot with Palmer as a pure WR4 and Samuel as a gadget player I think they would be much more dynamic and consistent at WR. It's not as bad as the WR core was before they traded for Cooper last year but they need a big punch up at WR. I would strongly consider a 2nd round pick swap with a 5th rounder to get Olave.
  8. This is what I think as well. You don't need Tyreek Hill just to have a downfield pass game. I think Josh is told to just take the underneath throw all the way up until we are in trouble and he has to put his cape on to win a game. Dink and dunk may win us some games but its not going to win the big ones.
  9. Cool, what is the Bengals record when Burrows gets hurt or has a bad game? How are the Ravens looking when Lamar gets hurt or has a bad game? Yeah, OK, thanks for coming to my TED talk.
  10. That didn't take long, lol. It's overblown in my opinion, but ok. We aren't gonna agree.
  11. This can be true while at the same time thinking we could have allocated that draft spot to another position. I'm happy we have him and that he is working out well but I think it could have been used with another position of need.
  12. The cold front ice cream is pretty good, cake flavored ice cream with cake pieces and sprinkles 😁 🤤
  13. I saw a really ticky tack holding call on Conner McGovern. As I noted in another thread, I thought Davis held Coleman during the pass play where Josh Allen overthrew a desperation pass at the end of the game that was just out of reach for Coleman in the end zone not defensive pass interference at the catch point).
  14. Dumb. They might have been the generic 00 dog jerseys at Petsmart since nobody could read the names/numbers.
  15. I wouldn't count the Ravens out yet. They have the Rams at home this week, but then they have a bye. After that, they should start getting guys back including Lamar, Hamilton, and Van Noy. Out of the bye, they have: Bears @ Fins @ Vikings @ Browns Jets Bengals Steelers @ Bengals Pats @ Packers @ Steelers They could easily be on a 6 game heater by the time they get to the Steelers. The AFC North might come down to that Week 18 game in Pittsburgh.
  16. Look....many of you know I have been as hard on Coleman as anyone. I had him rated as a late 3rd or 4th round talent and I never saw his ceiling as anything higher than a WR2 in this league even if he exceeded my expectations. And, to this point, my opinion hasn't changed. I will give him some credit, though. I have seen improvement in certain areas of his game. When he came out last year, his footwork was very sloppy. On a simple comeback route, he'd get to the top of his break and sometimes take 5 steps in order to stop and turn around. In this league, where CBs are so good, quick, and fast, that is a death sentence for getting open, especially for a guy that is not very fast to begin with. The same thing was happening on in cuts and out cuts....just too many steps to get into the break. This year, he has significantly been better in that area. His cuts are sharper and the footwork is better. But, the problem is, he still isn't the most fluid guy out there and because he is a bigger guy, things still take that half a beat longer than you'd like because he isn't the most explosive guy. And, unfortunately, that is why I still am very skeptical on him ever becoming an every down WR in this league. If he wants to take it to the next level, his physicality has to be taken to another level. While you can see him trying to do that, he just isn't there yet. A guy like him needs to play bully ball. He needs to be able to use his size and strength to subtly push guys off and create separation coming out of routes. And while je is stronger this year and has shown he can do that on a couple of plays, he is still struggling to create separation consistently. I said going into the season that if he wants to be great with his limited skill set, he needs to watch as much Anquan Boldin tape as possible. That is the WR he needs to try and become because no matter how much he tries or may want to, he's never going to be the guy running by people and making huge plays deep down the field. He doesn't have that physically. So, he needs to be able to create separation at the top of routes by "cheating" and not getting caught. He needs to be able to push off without making it obvious so he's called for it. He's not there yet. So, all that said, as you can tell, I'm still not high on the guy in terms of his ceiling. I think he is a fine player to have down your roster, but more as a 3-5 guy and not an every down player. He can help you in the redzone. He can help you on slants when CBs are playing off. And I do think he can become pretty good on stop and comeback routes if he keeps working because he does offer good size. But as a WR1 or WR2 eventually? I still don't see it. I hope he proves me wrong, but I just don't see it. We heard his name a lot in camp as making plays every day, but I think we are finding out that this was the result of him going up against our terrible defense every day and not real good NFL competition that he is facing in the regular season.
  17. Jacksonville I agree is not as good as their record and is not a threat for the #1 seed. Every time I watch their offense it feels like they are barely hanging on and something is always about to go wrong. On Indy though I don't agree. They have the best average point differential in the league at +14.8 per game. I don't think they're a powerhouse because Daniel Jones is still the QB but they are a legit threat to the #1 seed. They have a baby soft schedule and I can easily see them ending up 13-4. Tennessee stole the #1 seed a few years back under similar circumstances.
  18. Average passer rating when targeted & below average yards per route run, is not good when Josh Allen is the QB. When you move it to 15 targets he comes in behind Palmer too. He’s the lowest of all qualifying Bills pass catchers. We don’t need to continue to defend him. He has not been good. He’s below average with the game’s best player as his QB.
  19. As long as I get the gist of the argument correct, no need knowing absolutely everything. As I'm sure you in no way do. You idiot Boom!
  20. The first no call on Maye's blatant grounding was egregious. Didnt cross the LOS, he wasnt even looking at an eligible receiver, and threw the ball 5 feet in front of him as the sack was imminent.
  21. In the sports card business, his cards are on the rise!
  22. If, when?, the Supreme Court strikes down Trump's unconstitutional tariffs the federal government will have to pay back money it collected, roll the printing press! Gold will go even higher. If this was a Democratic Administration the right wing media would have the country in an wild uproad over this economic disfunction. if the court actually declares Trump has the power to unilaterally tax without the consent of the legislature our republic will be handed a big, big loss

  24. I agree. We need that too! Not really. Even the Prince got downfield passes completed against a pretty good defense last night. This was in crunch time when KC knew it was absolutely coming.
