I still had hope for Elam here before that. Mahomes went right after him and he was lost. That doesn’t mean he can’t do well in Dallas though

Is Israel Committing Genocide In Gaza?
LDD replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
We did not do this in Afghanistan when that country aided and fostered Al Qaeda. We had every right to invade that country and bring war, as the Israelis have that right in this instance, BUT. What the Israelis are doing to innocent people in Gaza is wrong. It is shameful and wrong. -
Currently using the Wiim Ultra …. Very pleased with the interface and the DAC for a sub $300 package

I agree with this, to a point. But starving out the children there is not a solution. This is nuts. A blight on humanity. -
Elam has certainly been disappointing to this point. I won’t declare anyone or anything a bust until I see the end of the movie. Stranger things have happened, and a fresh start might be what he needs to get on the right track. .

Ehhhhh, not really concerned about them. I think we've done a lot with our Secondary depth, and most of these guys know Diggs pretty well. -
The numbers don’t lie. They were virtually identical. Darnold was the 3rd pick and Fields the 11th. They weren’t vastly different as prospects. Both were elite college QBs, with elite pedigrees and tons of talent. Each had horrible situations in their first stop. Fields, slightly, outperformed Darnold. I attached the numbers. A horrible organization making a horrible trade doesn’t change that. Obviously you like Darnold, a lot. He’s my 19th best QB. My entire point is that Fields (currently my 28th QB) can be in that area. He has that opportunity. When given an opportunity, he has performed, at or a little above, Darnold (until last year). He has the chance this year, that Darnold did last year, with no competition. He’s going to get a full season to prove it. I will die on the hill that they were in a similar place after 3 years. This has nothing to do with feelings and everything to do with actual numbers. Fields didn’t command much in a trade because the Bears had zero leverage. Caleb Williams was considered generational. The Jets could have elected to stick with Darnold and draft Chase or Sewell. They didn’t believe in him enough to do that so they rolled the dice on Zach Wilson, a prospect nowhere near that of Caleb Williams. The Panthers, a terrible organization, with a bad GM, made a crazy offer so they took it. That doesn’t prove anything.

If both of them can be reasonably good in a rotation role that's a big help for us -
There’s a pool, and a pond. The pond would be good for you. Someone had to do it!

I think I could vacation in Hawaii (something we are actually considering) for what my wife spent on 4 tickets for us, the son and DIL in section 132 or 134. I advised her to wait to get them cheaper, but she found some on the aisle and knew I‘d appreciate that so she pulled the trigger. We paid $700+/each. You can do better. Good luck!

You didn't see him play and stink up the place? You'll do anything to take a shot at McDermott. He was a train wreck. That was such a big opportunity and he completely whiffed.

Is Israel Committing Genocide In Gaza?

That's the problem when you cause something. At some point you need to admit responsibility, and as horrible as the consequences are, you caused it. Hamas took billions in humanitarian aid over the years and diverted it into an underground labyrinth designed for the sole purpose of destroying Israel. They then launched this madness on Oct 7 going into bedrooms and slaughtering women and babies, filming these atrocities. Then, as they always do, hid behind innocent civilians, intentionally sacrificing them to the response they must have known was coming. Want to solve this? The Israelis have provided that answer for over a year. Get rid of Hamas and it ends. -
Did you watch him play in the AFC Championship Game? In the biggest moment of his career he was awful and a large part of why we ended up losing that game. Once Benford went out they targeted him big time. Good luck to him but he had more than enough chances here, it just didn't work out.

How the Texans' Blood Stunt Affected the Bills' Run Game
machine gun kelly replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Turk, I especially appreciate the second youtube video as it has the diagram providing color to the scheme. I know this stunt, but by a different name. It’s been a long time since I coached and even longer since I played, but can work. The problem is if you face an elite front 5 O Line, they can counter amd open a big hole. -

Its the pistachio farmer in him that keeps him humble. -
I learned in industry, a dog in one setting can be a star in another. Perhaps he just needed a fresh start. Maybe the McD culture didn't mesh w his worldview. Such things happen. I wish him well. (not the 'boys, but Elam)

I still remember the old Peyton Manning line. Someone asked a coach there why their #2 never got reps during the week. And the answer was "Without Peyton we're *****, and we don't practice *****". Same here. If Josh goes down for any length that goes past like 6-7 weeks, then just go for that top 5 pick. So long as the Bills keep shopping from the refuse pile, they're telling me that any lengthy for Josh = tank

The word is grounded, not cheap.

Context matters. She was asking what was some under the radar aspect of the team that the media and fans don't talk about much. Josh was saying that he does not really know what the conversation is like among the fans and media so that was tough to answer. It's not that her question made no sense to him.
