  1. Past hour
  2. There is nothing more to feel … and there never will be … until the clock runs out on a Super Bowl … and we have more points than the other team …
  3. Nothing wrong with hoping. I think he lacks the strength to win the way he did in college, at thr NFL level. That said, he'll develop and think our offseason coaching additions were geared toward knowing we'd attack DL and secondary in the draft. I'm keep expectations at a reasonable level, it's the crazy expectations that fans set that get people fired up when said Player needs more development after year 1. We've seen that story on here ALOT....zero patience, set super high expectations immediately: Bernard, Cook, Shakir, Coleman and Kincaid will be the next to take a huge leap
  4. Yes and Bryce Paup was a 6th rounder of Green Bay iirc.
  5. I had a similar discussion with a Bills fan I met. We both have the same optimistic feeling that this could be the year. Josh has continued to improve, to become more efficient. Our defense could be the best we have had in the last to or three years. This is not a prediction, just a positive vibe. Go Bills!!!
  6. Lol!! The Jet's new $400,000 a year rookie QB Joe Namath. To put that in perspective now, Caleb Williams made about $580,000 per game as a rookie QB.
  7. Speaking of reverence and institutions—-your guy sends armed agents to search his political opponents home, perform a 10 hour search, gather documents outside the scope of an investigation, selectively leak to influence public opinion, all while sitting on his own vast treasure trove of classified documents gathered illegally over a lifetime in politics. This forces his supporters to confront their own version of hypocrisy and selective moral/institutional ambivalence, one of many times they will be forced to do so.
  8. Bills/49ers. Two teams, no punts.
  9. Wrist injuries are really tough because there are a bunch of bones floating together there. if little chips are loose they are painful off and on. If it is a clean arm or tibia break, that will heal nicely, but a wrist is a problem.
  10. Bring back Cook and McGovern. Maybe Bosa on a two year deal if he stays healthy this year. Everyone else can go including Milano.
  11. Epenesa looked strong like that before the Bills asked him to lose weight and he lost too much. By the time he got to "optimal," his signature power was gone. Now he's neither particularly strong nor quick. He's more of a high-effort, "blue-collar" guy who can bat the ball down. I sometimes wonder how he would have turned out if they had let him be. At least he could have set the edge, something he doesn't do well now. If Jackson and Solomon develop and Walker is better on the edge (talk about power and quickness), Epenesa could be the odd man out in 2026.
  12. Very short term memory, this past year on MNF vs the Jags or the Lions game Longer term The McCoy Snow game Lions Thanksgiving game
  13. Only fitting that the game ended on a Trent Edwards dump-off pass. That defines an era.
  14. This, for me. It was Josh's coming-out party on national TV.
  15. Hahaha! I feel ya. Yuuup!
  16. It's shocking and humbling! At 61, still feeling a little like a bad a**, I broke my leg trying to break a piece of styrofoam packing from TV box into smaller pieces to fit into the garbage. Age is undefeated. And I have a new appreciation for those who advise to never throw away the original box and packaging for a TV.
  17. It was so long ago that I don't remember the year, but it was the game where Flutie went in for a 1 or 2 yard TD against Tampa Bay in the last seconds of a game to win, after a tremendous stop by Pat Williams. The TD looked to be on a busted play. I was at this game in Rich Stadium and the fans went beserk. Old ladies actually fell on me and I wound up on the bottom of a pile of people. The madness continued into the parking lot. Great times!
  18. Today
  19. There was a time when Felser, Carucci, Gaughan & Jim Kelley(Sabres) were all at the BN. The paper is now a shell of what it once was. 😞
  20. That one was still better than Bills 5 Bengals 0 in 1978. Attendance was listed as 45,000 but seem more like 25,000.
  21. Beating Patriots in 2011. Watched it with my roommates on a small laptop screen and we were screaming the entire time.
  22. Perhaps the finest video from an AFL regular season game. Rookie Joe Namath’s 1st start as the Bills are on their way to a repeat title. Worth the watch’
  23. I am optimistic. That is pretty much the opposite of miserable.
