  1. Past hour
  2. Not to mention season ticket holders who paid to watch the best roster possible.
  3. Burrow lost to Jerod mayo and Jacoby brisset last year 😭
  4. They could have three Chase's, and it wouldn't make a difference, not with the 32nd-ranked Cincy defense. Let's not forget that their star pass rusher is out. Besides, Burrow will be rusty from doing nothing for so long. I think NE winning the division is a forgone conclusion this year, and how sucky that sounds...they might just get home field too.
  5. If our path is a wild card, I would say we have no shot. The Kelly era bills did it as WC but that team had a better defense. The Giants did but they had a defense that got hot at the right time. Dont think they gave up more than 20 in a playoff game that year. Bills all time playoff record is 17–7 record in home playoff games and a 4–15 record in away. I believe McD and Josh have never won a road playoff game, so I dont see 3 in row happening. It would take Josh going superfreak mode and putting up 35 every game imho.
  6. Oh i agree. You have to be really pretty stupid to get caught, hence this is a bad signing.
  7. It's extremely common for top picks to prove they can't play. It's the opposite with lower picks Shavers took the most snaps at the x wr position Sunday. He's Wr1/ Target#1 right now until Kincaid is back imo It more or less happened with Kyle Williams 5th and mccargo 1st Andre Reed 4th and Chris Burkett 2nd JJ stokes 1st & Terrell Owens 3rd Rod Smith was undrafted, Marcus Nash was a 1st Rd pick for Denver in the late 90s Tom Brady 6th, Bledsoe 1st Elam & Benford, Stevie Johnson etc It's extremely common If he was still viewed as wr 5, he wouldn't be listed as a starter on ourlads, featured by the bills organization this week by Chris Brown, or leading the team in snaps last week. In other words he beat out Coleman. For an organization in 1 year to move on from their top pick for an undrafted guy says something. It says a lot about Coleman but it also says a ton about Shavers... But it's obviously still soon and maybe it's just a flash or whatever. My eyes tell me he's a special talent and he reminded me of John Stallworth. Obviously I could end up looking silly lol Imo if he was just a guy, he would be getting less snaps, and Gabe / Palmer would be the main guys. The traits are definitely there. During the preseason and in camp I thought he was the best wr on the team but I didn't say anything. After Sunday I'm starting to think I'm right... But you're correct it's hyperbolic and premature right now and more just a fun comparison I'm very interested to see what happens tonight with more pressure and against some good corners. If he lights it up tonight all bets are off imo. If he's 1 on 1 with Lassiter who runs 4.65, I think they're going to go deep more than once on him with Shavers.
  8. You're assumption is that all NFL players, simply by virtue of playing in the league, are all of superior talent. Compared to the rest of the population this is obviously true. Otherwise it clearly makes no sense. There countless examples of "NFL bad" players who have bounced around the league, "getting playing time". That the average player only lasts 3 years in the league also exposes your take as intuitively wrong.
  9. It is truly unbelievable that of all weeks to spit on someone Chase is suspended this week against the Pats
  10. TDS patients will claim these numbers are now fabricated since Trump fired the former head of the BLS and installed his "puppet" at the agency that will produce numbers he wants to be published. What they won't try to understand, because it will burst their illusion, is these numbers were always subject to fudging through features in the measurement like the birth/death model of small business creation and closure. Below is a link to information about the model and a lot of statistical gibberish. https://www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cesbd.htm
  11. I truly believe 90% of our problems on defense is the coaching. It’s the only thing that hasn’t changed. It’s not 7 groups of players that are all bad. I will basically guarantee that a guy like Schwartz, Wade Phillips, Fangio takes these exact players and our defense is good. The philosophical tendencies of McDermott is going to always give you what it gives you. And he’s very stubborn. There’s no mystery and the league figured him out years ago. We had generational safety play for the early part of his tenure. Those guys were erasers. They made plays from nothing and they took the ball away. You can’t rely on that. They got old and we never were never making stops to begin with. The coaching is the problem and unfortunately we are stuck with it. I wish we would tell McDermott to just be the head coach. Treat the defense how you treat the offense. Another guy from the outside is going to come in and make wholesale changes and you just worry about being the HC. Stay out of the room, stay out of the way.
  12. At some level, I think either way, we win. Watching KC lose never gets old. We are not a great match up with Indy given our run D, but maybe Daniel Jones will be Daniel Jones again on the way to tje AFC Championship game.
  13. So we negate their advantage by being exceptionally terrible at countering their advantage… Hey man I’m in!
  14. No style points on a short week. Just get the Dub, the mini bye and come back raring to go.
  15. This comment will go over fine after a loss not after a win and while we are hopeful for another one tonight. You have to pick your spots when it comes to "negative" critique. We had DVOA in our side. Turnovers covered a lot of flaws.
  16. Oh Indeed it does...
  17. The winner of the AFC North could very well be 9-8 After this week vs the Jets and Steelers vs the Bears, if the Bengals can beat the Pats, you could have both BAL & PIT at 6-5 with the Bengals at 4-7. Bengals have split against the Steelers and have 2 left against the Ravens. Steelers final stretch after the Bears have the Bills, Ravens twice and the Lions. Browns and Dolphins in addition. Ravens after this week. Steelers twice. Bengals twice. Pats and Packers. Bengals staying contention not only would likely mean Burrow comes back and they beat NE.. it also means they stay in the race to make the Ravens schedule far tougher on paper than it looked a few weeks ago and potentially beat them on Thanksgiving Night … which would make them juiced up for our game, but I’d take it if it means handing NE & BAL losses. Bottom Line, if Burrow can play, he’s coming back on Sunday. They seem far out of it, but if they can win these next two games, the math changes very quickly given the PIT/BAL schedules. Hopefully we put a wrench in that equation the following week, but not before they help us out.
  18. I think his "ceiling" is that of a Pro-Bowl caliber safety, he's got the athleticism and he's showing a better feel for the game and for the system the more he plays esp the more he plays with Po. Overall I think he's going to be a very good borderline elite player if he stays healthy. And thankfully the team needs that production from him and they need to get more production from that 2024 draft class in general.
  19. Finally the discussion is being had
  20. The Bengals have the 32nd-ranked defense, and the Steelers and Ravens are not far behind at 16 points allowed, 28th in yards allowed. with Balt at 23rd, 26th. I just don't see a big threat from any team in the AFC North this year.
  21. I agree with you that (what I perceive as) Beane's late 1st round draft strategy (go for high ceiling guys who need development) is problematic.
  22. Typical car loan is now 69 months. What it should be is still your opinion. please explain how stealing tax dollars doesn't change our lives?
  23. Hochul’s colossal $113M gift to far-left groups shows she’s just ā€˜another Defund the Police Democrat’ by Miranda Divine Gov. Hochul has spent $66 million of taxpayer money on grants to radical left-wing groups that conduct overt political operations to defund the police, close prisons, abolish ICE, decriminalize prostitution, promote open borders, target minors with transgender ideology, promote anti-Israel extremism, impose crippling climate mandates on new housing — and increase taxation to pay for it all. An examination of 13,000 grants since Hochul took office in 2021 shows a massive investment in far-left causes, with $66 million paid so far and almost $50 million promised for a total contract value of $113 million. ā€œOur tax dollars should go towards fighting criminals, not helping them,ā€ says Rep. Elise Stefanik, https://nypost.com/2025/11/19/opinion/miranda-devine-hochuls-colossal-113m-gift-to-far-left-groups-shows-shes-just-another-defund-the-police-dem/
