What to do with the post June $10 M that will be available

OT and 1-Tech depth. I'm not sure if we are going to get a big year from Von either. I wouldn't mind more competition at CB and both Rapp and Edwards are average NFL safeties. Bishop is a rookie as is Coleman. I'm not saying our rookies aren't going to be good, but how soon? I guess we'll see how things progress this Summer. Injury (Knock on wood) may force our hand. Our defense has been decimated by injuries lately. I'm of the opinion that we could have won the SB had Von, Milano and White been 100% or close to it. 3 points we got bounced by. Those 3 could easily made that difference and more. -

Am I really the first person to fact check you in this megathread? What has made you so violently change your tune here, Tibsy? Why all the blood lust 10 years later? Or is it that you feel guilty about your earlier position? -

Possibly, but so far my niece and nephews have all turned out alright, so who knows 🤷♂️ -
I did a playoff bracket on NHL.com and was really happy with how I've done so far. I had Florida and Edmonton as the two teams in the finals and according to NHL.com I got 71% of my picks correct. My ranking in this thing? 28,690 🤣🤣🤣

Personality wise.....he's one of my favorite guys on the team. I like him as a player too. I forgive his drops. For whatever reason, I couldn't forgive Gabe's drops as much. Good tight ends are hard to come by. I think he's a good football player and I'm happy we have him. He took a pay cut so this board had to shut up a bit. He's worth 7 million dollars and a guaranteed contract next year.

I am not sure if you are one of the ones who argued Colorado could remove him from the ballot but this one is almost that bad. If it has to get all the way to the supreme court, they will overturn in 7-2 based on judge not recusing himself, on improper application of law, and improper instructions from the judge. These are not minor things individually, much less in aggregate.

I love the song and the album "Urban Hymns" is superb. An interesting titbit about Bitter Sweet Symphony: "Bitter Sweet Symphony" is based on a sample from a 1965 version of the Rolling Stones song "The Last Time" by the Andrew Oldham Orchestra. The Verve added strings, guitar, percussion and vocals. They obtained rights to use the "Last Time" sample from the copyright holder, Decca Records, but were denied permission from the Rolling Stones' former manager, Allen Klein. Following a lawsuit, The Verve relinquished all royalties and the Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were added to the songwriting credits. In 2019, ten years after Klein's death, Jagger, Richards, and Klein's son ceded the rights to The Verve songwriter Richard Ashcroft.

GB, thanks for sharing and to counter, the only game I’ve missed is the SB with GB as I had to travel to CA for a work training. It’s not a Bills game, but it’s the only SB I’ve missed since the mid to late 70’s as I didn’t follow football before. I’m just not that old.

Sorry for being a PITA but maybe you got Kobe Bryant mixed up with someone else? Kobe was well known for worling hard but it wasn't because he didn't think he was incredibly talented. He was well known for his supreme arrogance regarding his athletic ability. The guy was drafted into the NBA out of high school . A player (especially someone from a well off family) does not declare for the draft out of high school if they didn't think pretty highly of themselves nor does the NBA draft players out of high school because they try hard. -

It also helps them justify their draft picks. I am not a Beane basher but this is just human nature. Not all players even who are just good need a second contract unless that value is truly there.
