Who’s your defensive surprise of the year?
blacklabel replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll take a big swing and say we'll be pleasantly surprised when Maxwell Hairston picks off a pass in his first NFL game. -
Please let him sign with another team, preferably a good team with a great qb, so he can drag them down a notch too

First things to look for when the schedule comes out

I'm thinking they're going to play in Dublin, and I want to make sure I'm in front of the TV on time. -

I may be one of them. And/or, the game in Atlanta. There's a big Bills Mafia presence there as well. -

Well, not really. He's a rather bright guy. The rest of the story from 5 years ago (You guys really dig for this marginal stories. He's not a threat. He had to be persuaded to run again). “The first African Americans sent into the English colonies came to Point Comfort in 1619. They were slaves, they had been captured against their will, but they landed in colonies that didn’t have slavery — there were no laws about slavery in the colonies at that time,” Kaine explained. “The United States didn’t inherit slavery from anybody. We created it. It got created by the Virginia General Assembly and the legislatures of other states. It got created by the court systems in colonial America that enforced fugitive slave laws.” In a statement to National Review, Kaine attempted to clarify his remarks — which were much longer than the prepared speech released by his office. “There was no law mandating slavery on our shores when African slaves came ashore in 1619. Did slavery already exist in the world? Of course. But not in the laws of colonial America at the time,” Kaine explained. “We could have been a nation completely without the institution. But colonial legislatures and courts, and eventually the U.S. legal system, created the institution on our shores and maintained slavery until the 13th Amendment. As I said, we didn’t inherit it. We chose to create it.” -
Elijah Moore is easily capable of becoming exactly what John Brown produced for Josh. Both are around 5-10 and both ran a 4.34 40. I just don't want to see us bring back retreats like Davis, Diggs, Cooper. They had their chance and it's time for fresh faces and motivation.

they can't ...and they hate the "tds" moniker because they know its so accurate.

Couple of my opinions… I do believe the idea that Beane loves Gabe. Gabe is way better than Hollins. In an everyone eats offense in which route running, spacing, and precision is key, Gabe is an awful fit. In this case Moore is the right move. Despite that, Gabe could help as a deep threat. Also, he should sign with the Giants.

I’m okay if we play the Ravens and KC without Hoecht and Ogunjobi. Especially if we can come out with a win. Gives them another thing they’ll have to game plan for assuming we meet again in the playoffs. -
Yeah I agree. Kincaid being this small is a huge problem.

Two games in 1988. First the opener at home against the Vikings, who almost became an SB champ in 87, as this game signified that the Bills were back winning a 13-10 slug fest. Bruce did not play in this game. Second, the Monday Night game at Giants Stadium against the Jets before Halloween, where Jets fans literally burned the stadium down, while mashing a beach ball pumpkin around the stadium. It led to no beer sales after half time of night games. The Bills routed the Jets 37-14.

Hopefully same for Eagles and Chiefs, too. -
I’d rather see what palmer, moore, and 2nd year Coleman have, but I wouldn’t be against signing Davis as a vet minimum insurance policy in case of injuries. Doubt Gabe would be interested in that role but he’s made enough money the last 14 months that he can pick where he wants to be and not worry about money. Vrabel relishes being a troll so Gabe could probably shake the Pats down for some good money if that floats his boat too.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
LabattBlue replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
On a team gunning for the SB, there is no time to f*** around with Coleman in your top 3. If he can’t show improvement in training camp and preseason games, he needs to be pushed down the depth chart quickly. -

Personally, I don't think Josh can get anything more out of him than what he's gotten already. As for the 2nd sentence in bold, I wouldn't because we've been there and done that story. Moved on from the drops and should stay that way
-
Man, no love for Gabe. Shocking, honestly. Id take him back. Sure, he had some drops...but also some HUGE plays. If Josh wants him...im all in.

Kincaid was unstoppable in college but he has been a disappointment. He gets knocked around and doesn’t make the tough catches you want a blocking challenged TE to make, When you compare him to the top TEs in football, he seems timid.
