  2. The problem I see with what you say above, and why I basically wrote the OP, is that this is how they looked last year, undisciplined, out of place, missing tackles--and then, it is the same this year. Where is the progression? There seems to regression instead. Unacceptable, I think, for McDermottt and Beane. We will see. If there is not progress, and we see the same things over and over, game after game, pretty consistently, over last year, and then in the first 1/4 of this year it looks the same, with the same awful stats, overall, and same look and feel, it does not relate almost at all to a few missed players. It doesn't make sense, add up. Instead, it appears to be how they are being prepared during the week, the game plan, and game call--the coach things. Look at Dorsey-- there were fundamental problems, and things did not improve, looked the same--even in the pre season I was sounding the alarm, as the starters looked wildly unprepared in their first game. That summer, and on here, I began to again hit on that as a huge red flag that this offense was not being led correctly, in fact incompetently--dorsey did not know what he was doing, and seemingly did not work hard in the off season to learn what he needed to know. He made a fool of himself, undermining one of the best offenses in the game more and more with each passing week. And we saw the results then that next season, just as I had predicted. It wasn't rocket science to add up the actual regression of the offense the previous year, what we saw that summer, and then the shocking start of the season when our high powered offense looked like a shell of itself, inept, confused, bewildered--even seen on the face and body language of Allen--and come to the conclusion they were being coached extremely poorly. Yes, some different details and circumstances with the defense last year and this, but it looks like two very similar situations--a team unprepared, where players and the units are not playing close to their potential. This week things will likely look different, as McD is PLANTING himself in the defensive meetings and practices, trusting Brady and Tabor. But this is not sustainable. I think McDermott knows this know, knows what good defense looks like and how to prepare players, sees the fundamental problems I am pointing to here and many more, as he is there up close, daily--and so will soon take the reigns completely.
  3. bud...it's called good parenting. if you raise your kids with morals and values, and you lead by example...they'll turn out fine. monitoring content and having open conversations with your children is what's going to shape them. we've already encounters aspects of this already. we spend a lot of time in the thousand islands, in the same small town where the locals are recognizable. one of them is the very tall man, in his early to mid 70s, who has decided to live as a woman. over time this guy has leaned into it more and more, and on occasion it's jarring. bright red lipstick, completely done up, wearing half shirts, etc. of course my kids had questions, so we explained it to them the best we could. now, they just brush it off. i'll get the elbow pump from my son when we see him, but he doesn't bother us, and we don't bother him. this doesn't have to be hard.
  4. Just look up the all 22 for yourself, it ain’t rocket surgery, lol,
  5. To his defense he was dealing with Cam Jordan all day.
  6. Yes, everyone should stop calling each other hyperbolic names. To my knowledge there are no actual commies, nazis, fascists, pedos/pedo-lovers on this board. Let's try and act like it, you commie fascist pedos! Sorry, I called lasties.
  7. What was your choice for the Bills third round pick…. Sheesh….how many angles can people take to look at just one of the thousands of decisions made over the course of a year at 1bd and imply poor management ffs the are one of the best teams in the keauge
  8. What’s infuriating is the same problems we’ve had for years on defense seem to be worse. I know it’s early and we’ve got a lot of reinforcements coming, but we are weak on the fundamentals. I think the defensive strategy with Drake Maybe has got to be a contained rush, stop Stevenson, and make Maye dink and dunk again and again. He’s got a lot of potential but some guys are talking like he’s already in the Top 10 which is ridiculous. McBabitch should be able to confuse him pre snap if our D actually knows where the hell to line up. Just make the damn tackles, don’t let Maye burn is with his legs, and we should be fine.
  9. This was one where they tried to sneak the mic on him without telling, at the end he says he figured it out in the 2nd Q. They've done that with him before.. Seems a bit invasive to not even tell, but I guess it's part of what you sign up for
  10. Let's take a step back for a moment and look at the issue at hand. Can you come up with a single legitimate reason to create a cartoon aimed at seven year olds, kids who are clueless about becoming cis heterosexual adults, and fill it with trans sexualized content?
  11. Board warning: Don’t click those as they are probably Peter Pan. If it IS music, it's probably that San Diego song from South Park. I think it’s this dudes theme.
  12. Hunting Wives was 85% soft-core porn. I walked into the room when my wife was watching it and said "finally a show we can share!"
  13. Van Demark was having too much fun out there burying defenders into the ground. He must have had 6-8 pancake blocks on Sunday. Even still, I'll be glad when we Spencer Brown is back to full health and on the field. I think many of us take for granted how good of a RT he has become.
  14. I suspect that unless Prater falls apart Bass is done here and we figure out next year when that time comes.
  15. Kind of like how repeating a lie is a bad thing. Like calling someone a communist (communists have killed a lot of people - probably more than fascists, FYI) or a pedo or evil repeatedly can cause a listener to be brainwashed.
  16. Bass is a head case.
  17. Let's be real - Landon Jackson wasn't known as some project player. He was a first team All-SEC DE. His not being able to crack the rotation behind Javon Solomon means something has disappointed the team about his development. Bear in mind Hoecht is also coming back so if that unit stays healthy I'm guessing we don't see him play meaningful snaps til next year.
  18. When Hoecht is back, I wonder if Solomon will be released?
  19. But what are their adjusted snap counts over expected scaled back to account for inflation?
  20. That's a good point. It's been noticeable that Josh is planted in the pocket on many passing plays and getting the ball out. Several times on 3rd and 7+ he's dumped it off well short of the sticks as the pocket was breaking down. Allen's best passing plays are when he leaves the pocket and throws on the run. Of course that exposes him to injury and I'm sure the Bills are instructing him to play it safe for now, then in playoffs he can do what he does.
  21. Anus man chimes in with more content. Thank you for this. We all needed your morning grumpy. True.
  22. Has there ever been a civilization that claps and cheers for its own destruction? Yes. A tale as old as commie time. What the hell sort of next level brainwashing is this?? How did this happen???
  23. It’s funny to me that the left now looks down their nose at the power of the consumer. Everyone should just take what they are given seems to be the mantra. Provided it aligns with political ideology of course. I’ve never heard the “get outside a bit” bit. Edgy. You’re doing great!
  24. Netflix comes across as programming for women at this point. Lots of crime docs and B-level soapy dramas. I think the last show I watched on there was The Hunting Wives, about a woman who cheats on her husband with another woman, gets wrapped up in a murder and her and her friend hook up with high school boys. So, there’s that. (Not gonna lie, it was kind of entertaining) Stranger Things final season comes out in 2058. Prime has some shows more tailored to dudes with Jack Ryan, Terminal List type stuff. HBO has the best original content and it’s not even close.
  25. MIT has the second ranked economics department in the country (after Harvard), and they’re great at both macro and micro.
  26. Lies, damned Lies, and Statistics! Bills fans have been looking at the stats for the Buffalo run defense, and it's really not good at 31st in yards allowed, 25th in TDs allowed, and 30th in rushing yards per attempt. I get it, as Bills fans are upset about how bad the Buffalo defense looks at times. Let's take a long, hard look at some games. Against the Ravens, the Bills stopped that vaunted Baltimore run game in the 4th quarter when it mattered most and forced a turnover from the "King" RB that had been running through them like a sieve for most of the game. Buffalo's defense stopped them a few times in that 4th quarter and allowed the offense to make a comeback to win. 25 to 40 was it? Want stats? The NY Jets had 54 net yards passing, and the ToP was 38:21 to 21:39. This game was in MetLife Stadium, too. They got a garbage-time TD by the backup QB Tyrod Taylor. Against Miami, as the Dolphins were driving to even the score in the 4th quarter and Terrel Bernard intercepts a pass at the Buffalo 17, and the Dolphins' comeback is over. Then, against the Saints, Buffalo DB Cole Bishop intercepts a pass by NO QB Rattler near the end of the second quarter. Then the last two drives by the Saints ended on downs with Tre White making the stopping tackle short of the first down. Then the Saints' last drive ended with a sack by AJ Epenesa and another sack, which caused a fumble by Joey Bosa. Yes, the Buffalo Bills defense should be as dominant as their offense...sadly, they are not due to missing some key players due to injuries and some others due to inexperience. Yes, the Buffalo defense has looked bad at times, with players missing tackles, assignments, and having bad gap integrity at times. Then they step up when needed to step up. What I can say is I think all is not lost, as some injured players will return, and some on suspension will return. Along with some who have limited playing experience, they will step up to make this year's defensive unit a top ten or better. Give Babich time to work his stuff, and if he doesn't...he won't be around for very long.
