My only concern is for the first part of the season, and in fact, those first six games. The Ravens, who won the AFCC last season and were knocked out of the playoffs by the Bills, will want to win in the worst way. The Bills play the NY Jets, Miami Dolphins, and the NE Patriots in those first six. Buffalo may find themselves at 3-3 before the bye week...hopefully not! I have less concern about the KC Chiefs simply because their division will be so much more difficult to win out with the Chargers, Broncos, and Raiders all improved. This season, the Buffalo Bills MUST win home-field advantage throughout, and that Ravens game looms so very, very large to me as I see the biggest threat coming from the AFC Central. The road to the Super Bowl, along with having home-field will be the biggest priority next to winning the division. My take is the Bills will be (barring major injuries, of course) much better off experience-wise with all the new and young talent on the roster near the end of the season. Timing between QB and receivers. Also, the defensive secondary and defensive line should be looking better. The last thing I want to see is the Buffalo Bills traveling to Baltimore for the AFC Championship game.

Someone should take the controls from Beane during round 2. It has not gone well for him there. The exception is James Cook, but drafting a RB in Round 2, is almost cheating.

At the time our defensive ends were rather old - it was an attempt to get young talent at the position. Hughes, Addison, and Murphy were all 30+ and Epenesa looked like... a worse version of what he is. He had dropped a ton of weight and struggled to set the edge on early downs.

As I've already stated in this topic, I've been a Bills fan since 1968 (and a Sabres fan since their inception in 1970). Do I/we deserve a championship? "Deserve" is a word that hopes for a perfect and just world because it comes in the form of either reward or punishment. It could be argued that in a perfect and just world, that our many years of fandom and numerous finals disappointments should be rewarded with a championship... that we deserve one. But we don't live in a perfect and just world so in that sense, the only thing we deserve is what we get. Related but separate is the question of whether just a single championship will satisfy us... I think it depends on the individual with those who can enjoy this era of Bills football likely to be satisfied with just one and those that are bitching, moaning, criticizing, and complaining unlikely to be satisfied. JMO. The F word only has 4 letters... spell much? 😆
