I was a big criticizer of Gabe, he produced no volume. Put up too many goose eggs. Dropped too many balls. Awful catch%. Involved in what felt like 50+% of Josh INT's. Knee jerk reaction is NFW! Settling in and thinking, he could be a nice PS addition at minimum for emergency. Possibly work his way into that Hollins role. Maybe he can get rid of the yips when hes not being asked to produce at a #2. I hated Hollins as a #2, but began to love him in the limited 4th wr spot, and especially the run specialist snaps. Line him up on 10 run formation plays, ask him to pass block on 9 of em.... 1 play-action or send him on a route outta a heavy formation. Any trust would need to be earned slowly, and be OK with that role

Toyota Tacoma. Who's got one (or at least an opinion on them)

My father has a 2012 Tundra with 250k miles. Never needed any major mechanical work and still runs great. I just replaced the transmission in my Sierra at 90k miles. My next truck will be a tundra -
At best a 7th, doubt they could get that even

Paging Draftniks: Bills sign LSU CB Zy Alexander (and some other dudes)

They signed him to play in the 3rd preseason game and he got hurt in the first practice. -

Jarveon Howard lasted about 10 hours before being injured. This new Bills S&C team is not covering themselves in glory. Zy Alexander pre-combine was being talked about as a Day-2 possibility. Zy Alexander post-combine dropped off the face of the draftable list with bottom-percentile explosive measurements in the vert/broad and speed in the 40, although his 10-yard split was probably his best measurable. His profile is he has some length (6'1") and is a willing tackler, ok at processing, but limited physically. This makes me wonder if the Bills are thinking more toward a conversion to safety than try to have him man up at the boundary corner, but he's still light at ~190. -
Logic, I agree with most of your posts but am not so sure about your claim that Moore is equivalent to KJ Hamler or Jalen Virgil. Moore has averaged something like 540 yards per season (despite, yes, some lousy QB-ing). He's been good enough that coaches have put him on the field. Seems like a decent, not great, Everybody-Eats kind of guy. Hamler has averaged about 200 yards per season. He's struggled to earn snaps. Virgil has been in the league for 3 years, played one season, and accumulated a whopping 75 yards. I'm not sure if Moore has looked any better in camp than Hamler or Virgil, but he has been more productive in actual games and has the far stronger resume. I think that's why most of us see him higher on the depth chart than Hamler or Virgil and probably a member of the final 53.

I wish someone in the media would ask coach McDermott whether preseason really matters anyway (worded better than that, but that gist). NFL coaches obsess over every detail of every day, so the idea that all the practices, all the film sessions, and the games where young guys trying to make the team have the chance to step up "doesn't matter because it's preseason" would probably send him on a rant/tirade. It matters where you park your car. How you walk into the facility. The temperature of the coffee at 4AM when you show up. The song you listen to on the way in to work. The number of leaves in the lettuce in your salad. And so on.... I wouldn't be shocked if an NFL HC counted the number of ice cubes in the ice bath for optimal efficiency. -

He has been injured and has played poorly. He started last week and will be healthy to play in the 3rd game. Bernard was out. I dont know if he played a preseason snap. He played 12 snaps against the Bears. He was on a pitch count to help him ramp back up. We're likely not going to see him on the field this season with a secondary and LB group consisting of Brandon Codrington, Joe Andreesen, Dane Jackson, Dorian Strong. He had 11 reps that were all pretty much fine. The TD was a bad rap by him and the entire defense. There are going to be mistakes with Cole Bishop this season. There were mistakes with Hyde and Poyer. It seems very premature to say Bishop has played poorly. He has barely played this offseason. Maybe he'll suck. I don't know. It just seems wayyyy to early to make that decision. -
I wasnt going to renew but saw this and thought why not. Also driving past the stadium and seeing how magnificent it is I had a little bit of fomo. They had been reaching out to me to see about my interest. So I finally called them back. Honestly don’t really care where the seats are. I prefer higher up to see plays develop. Wanted as close to aisle as possible and covered. 10 minute phone call and ended up with section 451 row 18 seats 3/4. $750 psl. Cost for the season is $920 a ticket. Not too bad to get a spot in the new palace.

I would get rid of Moore and Samuel, and roll with Shakir Coleman Palmer Shavers Wilkerson and Shenault. There is plenty of size and speed with that group. Moore and Samuel are small, hurt a lot and just are not very good. I would get rid of Buffalo Joe too. #35 Cialo or whatever his name is, (West Point is what they called him on Hard Knocks) has more athleticism and upside. Safety is an issue. Would love Forrest to show something. And Hancock when healthy will make some plays for us, and will start next year for sure.

Did we hear anything good or bad about Moore in practice/joint practice last week? I basically missed the game, i had it on, but there was busy family function going on. Think he dropped what looked like WR screen, was that him? Anything else in that game?

I'm starting to think the Bills are signing these guys just to absorb the weird injury curse that's been going around all offseason. Some kind of voodoo injury transference spell. Crazy. *****. The spell didn't work.

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?
GunnerBill replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There have also been a number of games up one score where the defense has got the stop. Including two wins at Kansas City (22 and 23) and the division clincher in Miami two years ago just off the top of my head. I accept there have been some failures too. Maybe just the way my brain works I find the successes easier to recall quickly. -
US Gov't Accountability in the EPA & FDA .

If nothing else anyone involved in any of this fraud needs to be brought out in front of those that voted for them to be held accountable at least in the court of public opinion for the corrupt actions they did while in DC . Maybe but I highly doubt that this would let some of those people that ave been drinking the kool aid all along just how crooked these people are and have it be out in the open even though I still believe hole heartedly that they would still hate Trump just because . And this is the entire reason why they hate Trump so much in DC because he has brought all of this out into the open and the gravy train has stopped at least while he's in office . Too the people well at least those that care about the truth are finding out exactly how big a POS these people are and I feel should be held accountable for their actions 1 & all ... -

I was hoping for months they would have signed Julian Blackmon. Whatever happened to the Forrest guy? -
Moore is very reasonable as a trade candidate. Bills take 750K dead cap and the new team gets him for 1.75M. I can easily see that happening. There may be a way to modify Samuel's deal to do a cost sharing thing...those are the two candidates......reality is Moore is easier to trade.
