Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline

simmons only one i am really interested in. If they stay put with wr group, just some coaching/play calling adjustments and they should be fine, and can mostly let james cook and lean on TE if necessary. It will come down to playcalling and adjustments. -
After hearing Brady speak to the press today, yea… hes a major issue and im worried he’s causing Josh to regress.

Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline

I've always been of the opinion that outside KC the biggest deterrent that's really hurt the Bills road to the SB is the elimination of the bye for the #2 seed. -
Nothing to do with Pats for me. Teams are going to rise and fall. There will be fierce competition. Sucks that Vrabel's in the division with a rising star at QB, but the league doesn't stand still. For me, it's a Bills-specific, organizational lack of optimization and innovation. From roster management, to opponent-specific gameplans, to player execution. McD should always call the defense, no matter what. And he should leave alone Kromer, Brady, and Allen (and Cook) to come together and turn the offense into a point maximization machine who can also control the game once they get ahead. Probably our WR coach has been hot trash since Hall left (ignoring the room he's working with). But something ain't being maximized there. Might have something to do with QB coaching, too. Allen isn't exactly his very best right now. My angst is usually more about the offense. With our running game, it's absolutely soul-crushing that the Bills can't/don't threaten defenses deep and intermediate. Their deep balls are handoffs to Cook or RAC throws to Shakir. Defenses must be cheating up like crazy (pre- and/or post-snap). Been the case in the playoffs for years.

If the penalty on Po was accepted then yes. Unless Po’s penalty was a personal foul

My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!

Wasn't this the same guy who had a bunch of games with 0 reception/yrd for the bills? I guess people quickly forget -
At this point I would sign up without any hesitation to win the AFCE and get the 3 or 4 seed. Unfortunately, I think we will be a 5-7 seed and suffer a WC exit. The Oliver injury and lack of a deep threat at WR + the Pats getting a franchise QB on a cost controlled contract is just too much to overcome.

Imagine selecting DT Dwayne Carter in round 3 -2024, DT T.J. Sanders round 2- 2025 and DT Deone Walker round 4-2025 and still maybe trading for a DT before the deadline yet these guys refuse to get Allen any sort of weapon since Stefon Diggs. Oh and signing free agent DT Larry Ogunjobi who missed 6 games for PED's. -
And he made several clutch catches and blocks throughout the year along with his locker room. presence. We had no WRs last year….yet our passing game was much better than it is now. Josh trusted him and he came through much more often than not. 25 of his 31 catches went for first downs. Many on 3rd down. He doesn’t trust any of our WRs downfield as he trusted Hollins Cooper played 21% of the snaps….he helped but he wasn’t THAT important where he helped the offense even while he was on the bench 79% of the time.

I think I will say if this team had peak Diggs and John Brown on it, we would definitely be extremely confident. In spite of the issues in the secondary we would feel like we could overcome that easily. Right? I mean that would make this offense the best in the league. Elite oline. Elite RB WHICH MAKES BEANE’S NEGLECT OF WR UNACCEPTABLE. There is no trade for difference maker out there - maybe Waddle. But Miami won’t do that with us and I’m at the point Beane trading for one would be him admitting he was wrong and he looks terrible bc of it.
-
I would understand it if we did. Lol

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
SirAndrew replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s the thing with the Pats. I’ve dismissed many who’ve treated AFC East opponents as threats during the Allen years. No one has been legitimate in years, but Vrabel changed all of that. We now have an excellent coach in our division. -
The Bengals beat KC in the regular season and then in the playoffs to advance to the Super Bowl in 2021 , I believe.
-
That’s 100% where I’m at with it. The problems run deeper than elite receiver talent.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
BillsFanForever19 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was great on Special Teams. And he was a great blocker. But in 20 games for us last season, including 15 starts - he caught 36 balls, for 481 yards, and 6 TD's. Not even 500 yards on 20 games and 15 starts is pretty poor numbers. Everyone considers Josh Palmer a bust, yet his yardage total is at half of Hollins' 20 game output in just 5 and a quarter games. The warm fuzzy nostalgia for Hollins by this fanbase is out of control.
