  1. Past hour
  2. I know Henry is amazing, but some of his runs against the Bills he is basically untouched, or untouched until he gets to the dbs.
  3. Maybe it’s not crazy that Poyer gets activated this year
  4. Even for you, this is a preposterously ham handed attempt to divert attention from the focus of this thread.
  5. Ehh idk…I think the ravens offense is even more all time stacked this year and sometimes you’ve just gotta win a shootout.. in the playoff game their outside WRs were absolute clowns with flowers out which made loading up against the run much easier. They had flowers and dhop this time. People are talking like this was the same offense we saw in the playoff game but they were considerably better. Bateman at WR1 really simplified the defensive gameplan idk how much of what we saw last night will apply to any of the other 30 teams in the league so the panic is likely a bit premature
  6. In a lot of ways, we are playing "Baltimore Light" this week. Very mobile QB that can hurt you with his legs. WRs that can get open. RBs that can break one. And a defense with some really good talent! Now, they are not nearly as good as Baltimore is at any of these positions hence the "Light" tag, but as a division foe, that always can always keep games closer than they should be at times. And, with a new coaching staff and only 1 game of tape out there, it may take a bit to figure out what they are doing on both sides of the ball. Honestly, I am shocked they scored as much as they did in week 1, but I am also surprised how many points they gave up as well. So, I think they are still a bit of an unknown quantity at this point. The fact is, though, we are a superior team in terms of talent and we have Josh Allen. Providing Brady doesn't force us to go back to our east/west dink and dunk offense with half of our throws at or behind the LOS and lets Allen do what he does best slinging the rock down the field, we should be able to handle business. Our defense has to be more fundamentally sound and even though they have a mobile QB, Fields is not in the same stratosphere of QB as Jackson is and we should be able to contain him. This should be a double digit win, but after the way our defense played against Baltimore, until they prove and show that they are better this year, I will never say a win, especially against a division opponent, is going to be easy.
  7. I'm reading 51 snaps and 2 solo tackles for Dorian Strong. Can we say he did OK, or was he a liability?
  8. Oh man I forgot about this rather silly rule 😂. I guess they have to let the defense treat receivers as blockers to give them a chance on plays where the qb scrambles that way…they can def take advantage and lock up a passing route though that was never realistically gonna become a blocker though. I remember the Seahawks just kinda tackling all the receivers on a play back in the tyrod taylor days
  9. Sign him. Especially if cheap. At worst he's a better back up.
  10. Yeah fair enough you got me there. Still more points even with that taken off the board though.
  11. Go 1-0 this week fellas
  12. He still takes a few plays off.
  13. I was having Von Miller flashbacks.
  14. Today
  15. People laugh but it's not actually far from the truth. I've been the chargers games. And to play under staley. Geez. Football has just become fun again for him.
  16. The fact that he took on Henry shows how Strong he is. He realized he signed with the right team.
  17. Google, what is an example of delusion?
  18. McDermott talked about it some in his presser today about 5:20. The rule is if the QB is in the pocket, then it's illegal contact (illegal touching) to force Coleman out of bounds. I think the play would still not count, but there would have been a penalty and I think they would replay the conversion attempt. But if the QB is out of the pocket, then the contact is not a foul, Coleman was out of bounds, and the catch didn't count because he was the first to touch the ball after being out and coming back in. At least I think that's what McDermott was alluding to. The key with illegal contact is the QB must be in the pocket. As I understand it.
  19. With Rapp, I think what we see is what we'll continue to get. He is smart enough. He's tough and physical, but is not that athletic and has seriously below average speed. That makes him an automatic liability in coverage. The faster and more athletic the receiver, the more Rapp's liability shoes up. Still, as a veteran, there are things Bishop can learn from him. As far as run support is concerned, I think the Bills probably asked their safeties to do more of it against the Ravens than they usually ask of their safeties thanks to Derrick Henry. That might make him a bit rusty.
  20. If our D is flawed what is the Raven's D with multiple all-pros, pro bowlers and 7 first round picks on it?
  21. Eagles FO is fascinating
  22. I’m really starting to hate the eagles!
  23. Spotting the ball in the NFL is about as accurate as an MLB strike zone. We always seem to get screwed by a yard or so. Someday technology will fix that like the soon to be digital strike zone. Someone might want to re-train these refs. It's where the ball is when the knee hits. They're marking it at the knee spot.
  24. Are you giving Caleb credit for 7 points from the pick-6 thrown by McCarthy?
  25. Been to a few yankees playoff games and 1 world series, the atmosphere is electric, I still feel it's a different vibe in orchard park
