  1. Past hour
  2. I dont think Kraft is that smart, but he does seem to be that lucky.
  3. No, you’re right. It’s a BORING offense. Even the announcers have been bringing it up during games. That kind of stuff works with Tom Brady and a cast of carefully selected short white WRs and steroid abusing homicidal Tight ends. Not so much what a high-octane Josh Allen offense SHOULD be which is big chunk throws/runs and a complementary running game. I get that they don’t have the cast, but WHOS fault is that, Beane ? Edit: kind of bummed that Daboll is turning it around in Jersey. There was the offhand chance that maybe he would come back here. I was never a Daboll hater either. I follow the Giants closely because of him.
  4. If you traded every one of those firsts we’d be better off. Maybe one them goes for Maxx Crosby idk. The other problem is the second contracts to guys that aren’t all pros. Just nice players. That’s fine, arguably. But your drafts better produce more than what we’ve done. Example - maybe Shakir should have been expendable bc of the 2024 draft. You take Ladd let Shakir go. Money saved and position upgraded. Im not saying that was the move to make. But that’s the kind of approach we didn’t take when it came to the second contracts and roster construction - only Benford and Cook are truly worth it.
  5. So he can be the 4th receiver on our 53 who doesn’t get open? Awesome.
  6. I don't know if the lack of WR /TE separation early on routes is the Coaches or the players. get the guys running to space again. Last two weeks looked like team losses. defense is my main concern of late. And not just one player. The whole thing
  7. you're right on...other teams are gonna run with the Falcons defensive blitz ideas and if we cant seem to pick up the blitz it wont matter what receivers we have, Josh will never have time to let them get separation...We all knew they were gonna see a blitz-happy ATL team and apparently none of you told the team...lol
  8. This might be the first game (if not the first, the first in quite some time) that I've seen Josh struggle finding a receiver to throw the ball to. I'm curious if game film might support my gut feeling that our receivers could not find separation from their defenders.
  9. This Josh Simmons story is ominous. Here is what we know: -- Chiefs listed him as "questionable" hours before the game two weeks ago with "illness." He played. -- This past weekend, per Underdog, Mahomes showed up for the game and noticed his left tackle wasn't there. -- A report came out that some coaches didn't know where he was. -- Earlier that day, Simmons deleted his IG (could be nothing). -- The Chiefs announced Simmons would miss the game for "personal" reasons. -- SiriusXM initially said "family reasons," but some reporters have since indicated that might not be the case. -- Andy Reid has said multiple times he won't comment and doesn't know when Simmons will return. -- Mahomes said he is praying for Simmons. -- Reid said the GM is now "handling" the matter, indicating the team is considering some kind of roster move.
  10. I don’t claim to know a lot about the intricacies of football, but I do know one thing: the Bills offense is sometimes not that fun to watch and considering we have Josh it’s frustrating to see it stall. Not sold on Brady, but as I said, I know nothing.
  11. I think Fitzmagic says it well in the video someone posted above. The Falcons saw something on tape they thought they could exploit and they blitzed Josh on 56% of plays (the most since 2021). I assume a good part of that is that the Falcons did not fear our receivers with Kincaid and Samuel out, and once Palmer went down it became a moot point. Our speed at receiver and TE was gone. So, it was a good choice to take some risk and be aggressive blitzing Josh. On the flip side, Josh and the Bills O was not ready for the Falcons game plan, but that is not at all completely on Josh. Brady needs to come up with a plan and be ready for a more aggressive blitzing scheme and be well prepared with the hot reads. On at least one play I think Josh wanted to throw to an open Cook when he was under pressure but Cook wasn't looking back. I don't know if he was the hot read on that play, but if he was he made a mistake. Brady has to stop coasting on the Allen athleticism.
  12. Bernard is obviously meant to be a WLB (was listed as Milano’s backup his rookie year) and the only reason they put him at MLB in 2023 was out of necessity. They should seriously consider moving him to WLB after this season where his skillset can be better utilized then going out and getting a more traditional MLB. Would give us a good chance to upgrade both LB spots.
  13. Not a good idea. Because you always get a little Fitztragic mixed in with the Fitzmagic.
  14. Jim Kelly as OC. Bruce as DC. Tasker as ST coordinator. Bring back Polian and SUPER BOWL!
  15. im a hater and for the past 4 off seasons i wanted to move on. I still do, but given where we are now the two best coaches/roles in our building are kromer on OL, and McD as a DC. they both have succeeded many times at a high level in those roles. McD has been an overall successful HC, but given that the expectations are a chip, he's not been all the way there. I think right now he's got to really take his stamp and mark the D, either wake babbich up, over see more, or just call plays as needed (he may have done so at the end of the last game for all i know). on O, frankly he has to realize what brady does wrong and actually make him do the right thing. it's not something he's really done before, aside from firing dorsey and promoting brady, but it's what he has to do to make the next step.
  16. Has there ever been any word on Strong and him seeing a neck specialist? Is the neck injury season ending? Seems like the Bills have been keeping his injury hush-hush a bit. Have I missed any news on this?? I think 2 weeks have gone by now...
  17. I think that is a bit of a cop out to be perfectly honest. I know I am biased. I was a much better coach than I was a player (different sport admittedly) but coaches coach and players play. Once they cross the white line there is an element to which you are powerless. They have to decide and they have to execute. And I honestly don't see that many players lost on offense. Unlike on defense where I do.
  18. This is the same thing that happened to O'Reilly. Was basically a skating corpse with the Sabres then goes to St Louis and wins Stanley Cup Conn Smythe. No words. (or maybe too many words to count)
  19. Just look at the board today, I have posted on the Middle East Peace situation. The government "Shutdown" The Supreme Court debating redistricting Jack Smith updates Media fake news. US bombing drug smugglers Transgenders failing. Voter fraud. And the usual suspects on this board have spent the entire day pushing a Politico story about young republican jackasses spouting foolishness on a chat board. (and when you point out the hypocrisy of their excusing someone actually proposing murder online, they say that you are deflecting ) .
  20. You know nothing. You post nothing.
  21. Let me make sure I have this straight. A comment about bullying (not cool) somehow attracts more of the attention of Anus Man than a series of messages among young Republican leaders replete with racism and support for Hitler? Even for Anus Man this is a new low.
  22. McDermott has put out multiple top 5 defenses here lol The fact people think it's been 8 years of crap is fantasy not fact He doesn't have the dogs on defense right now
  23. The more I post about this and think about it, the more I am certain: McDermott is fine. This roster is not great. Beane must go. But he won't. Look for a 1st round DB who McDermott can't stand, a 2nd round DL who McDermott won't dress for games, and a 3rd round LB who McDermott won't play because he's a rookie. But these guys are one mind, right?!
