FEMA cuts, MAGA cries: the hypocrisy hits home
Homelander replied to Homelander's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
A textbook case of white, entitlement and incompetence. And yet, Trump proudly replaced DEI with mediocrity — only the best, right? -

A successful career by any measure. Enjoy the rest of your life Ronald. Thanks for the memories

Come to think of it, I can’t recall speaking to any Alaskan who knew anything about energy since mid-2021. Last year, on the phone with a guy in Kachemak Bay, I asked him if they used wind power to generate electricity. He replied “I don’t think so, but we do have some big tall spinny things out there other side of the bay, but they barely generate a breeze.”. This can’t be a coincidence.

damn that's a beautiful rep

When most people say winning a Super bowl is the only thing that matters I think people are taking that a bit out of context in this thread. It isn't literally the only thing that matters. I'm sure most would prefer watching a Bills team that is 1-15 vs it being the offseason. Watching a successful Bills team vs an unsuccessful one. Most of us live and breath this team and we love the great moments the Bills give us even if it's not Everest. I doubt many people here are watching as Allen does something impossible, leaping into the end zone, then exclaiming, "its not the Super Bowl Josh! Calm the F down!". The Super Bowl only people still are enjoying this run a great deal. We just aren't overly excited about celebrating milestones like AFC east champions, winningest team of this _____, winningest coach of that. We know we are good. We enjoy the team. We just raised the bar of what success is or isn't at this point. So when the year is over and we are left to reflect on it, without that accomplishment, it is getting harder to say the year was a success. A lot of good times can still be had even if that ends up being the conclusion.

I love Cook and I was hoping that we would sign him long term but I’m at a point now where I think we need to re-sign O’Cyrus Torrence and Conor McGovern and perhaps draft someone in RD1-RD2 at RB in the 2026 Draft.

PFF's top 32 TE's (Dalton Kincaid at 10!!!!!)

Huh? That post is kinda incomprehensible tbh -
Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty

I think you can be mentally & physically tough while being being unsure of your post injury capabilities. Dude was healthy through college wasnt he? I think he can be nasty in the run game, appears like a haul to bring down once hes got the ball, so im willing to give him the pass here. Dude had just started to get the earliest signs of momentum going and then had it killed by a month off the field. Probably very hard to get that train going again as a Rookie & as somebody whos been football healthy his whole life -
NFLN is replaying Bills-Lions from last year. Cook has 80 yards of offense in the first 13 minutes of the game! Are we sure he isn't worth it?

Googled the author of the article. 17 years in public radio. BA Sociology, Columbia. Shocking.

All good man, if you want to believe that so be it. I mean I have no dog in this race or crystal ball and I am not here to say he is for sure getting released. I am just sharing that NE is has been considering it, and its not about whether he can play football still or not. And as I said, it stems beyond just the video. We will see what happens...this is more of a near term consideration, so if he makes it to camp I am guessing he is likely safe barring doing something else stupid or just falling off a cliff on the field.

I saw the headlines for Baltimore and Cleveland which are definitely for 2025, I also looked up Dallas. https://mayor.baltimorecity.gov/news/press-releases/2025-05-01-mayor-scott-highlights-continued-historic-decline-homicides https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cleveland.com/news/2025/03/cleveland-homicides-down-48-in-first-quarter-of-this-year-compared-to-2024.html%3foutputType=amp https://www.axios.com/local/dallas/2025/05/12/dallas-homicides-declining-in-2025

Saquon Barkley chosen for cover of Madden 26
HardyBoy replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Giants don't belong anywhere close to that list in my opinion -
“Valuable local reporting” as LDD puts it. Definitely worthy of government funding.

Cardi said he was pulling down balls in Mass. Is that not what she meant?

PFF's top 32 TE's (Dalton Kincaid at 10!!!!!)
TheWeatherMan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not all that surprising, considering he is a pass catching TE on an offense that: 1. Is #1 scoring offense in the NFL 2. Has has no demonstrated #1 WR 3. Is built on the principle of wide spread (everyone eats) distribution of the football. 4. Has the best QB in football. IMHO., the fact that he’s only considered #10, is a detriment to his performance to date. -
Maybe he is secretly still committed to helping the Bills win? If all it takes is for him to rot KCs locker room, I'm all for it!

Favorite memory: Local night club way after hours, circa 2016. Run into a guy coming up the stairs as my group and I tried to go up the same stair case from a different level. We stopped and he passed by. My then gf (now wife) said “is that Ronald Darby?” I eyed him up and concluded no way. Dude is tiny. We got to the roof top bar and immediately bumped into Sammy Watkins, scores of fan girls, and a guy who I thought was mini-Gronk (then with the Bills) along with a handful of other recognizable players. That’s my favorite memory of Ron Darby. Great 2nd round pick or greatest 2nd round pick?!

Very good DBs selections for a while. I was shocked he was still playing.
