I like that Coleman is getting better and Mad Max is learning how the NFL works. Both of them consistently improving is huge for us. I REALLY like what I'm hearing on Coleman and his route running.

Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"
SoTier replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, I got your fandom beat by considerably more than 20 years, but you sound the cranky senior with a sour view of all humanity younger than you and your cronies. You have no idea what Brady or Mahomes' work ethics were/are compared to Allen's. You just want to diss Allen because the Bills didn't make the Super Bowl, you're still po'd and you need another scapegoat because Kincaid and Coleman have already been burnt to a crisp. -
I will be sure to have plenty of popcorn ready, just like last year, when we get to see everyones spin attempts and backpedaling again this season when the offense once again is elite after another offseason of doom and gloom from the usual suspects.

Anticipated changes in philosophy/scheme in 2025?
Never NEVER Give-up replied to TFBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anticipated changes in philosophy/scheme in 2025? Not a throw-away topic at all. I feel this is what stops us in the playoffs every year. The Bills are a great team and they beat everyone during the Regular Season, but they falter in the playoffs, in my opinion, due to a lack of offensive and defensive creativity. No new wrinkles in the playoffs while our opponents throw stuff at the Bills they've never seen before. Babich and Brady need to get more creative. Belichick used to mix-it-up all the time, confounding opponents. Ready for Brady's aerial assault? Only to see the Pats run it down your throat. The Bills need a little of this! Some trick plays too. Not insane ones like the fiasco in Baltimore last year, just a WR pass back to Josh, a half-back option, etc . . . On Defense, some creative blitzes - like the one KC dialed up last year to hurry the late-game pass from Josh to Kincaid - they'd never seen that before. -
Really? Did you not notice the O-line this past season?
-
The Bills got lucky, timing worked, there is a lot push back now on new stadiums.

I’ve never rewatched an entire game, I don’t have time for that. I didn’t watch highlights from the 13 seconds game for a long time. I still avoid highlights from our playoff losses.

Bills Rams last year

lol so basically half the 2023 season (not that I disagree)
-
I've only rewatched 2 losses: Super Bowl XXV and the Chiefs 14 seconds game. That's it.

There should be but logistically it would be really hard to pull off as undocumented immigrant workers would fear being deported. Yup. The illegal immigrants by and large do the jobs that we don't want to and many employers take advantage of paying them under the table (42% of undocumented workers in NYS make below minimum wage). We also wouldn't have enough workers to fill those spots if every illegal alien was suddenly deported. It really should be a multifaceted approach of beefing up border security, increasing punishment on employers that exploit illegal immigrants, and somehow do what @Roundyboutsuggested. It's not going to happen though.

I've watched the 13 seconds game a couple of times but I always turn it off when the Bills take the lead for the last time. I've now convinced myself that we won. In fact we won the Super Bowl that season. I even photoshopped a picture of Josh Allen holding the trophy and wrote an entire postgame analysis which I pasted over a page from NFL.com. The key to any good lie is the details.

You know you're a Bills fan when you can reel off 15 all-time horrific losses off the top of your head, yet somehow know that there's still probably another 10-12 that you missed.

I was in a good mood.

Do you watch highlights? Do you read publications? If so, you too are living in the past lol
-
Most of the games from 2012 I’ll skip. It was a very disappointing season to me and not a good year for me personally. So I’ll get triggered memories kind of thing. I could enjoy watching condensed Bills games from the pasts or highlights

I’m hopeful for Coleman and Dalton, and seriously hope I eat my words. I want both to succeed! I hated the Coleman pick, and know that the coveted 33rd draft slot would get a premium trade return. Keon is so likeable. I was pleasantly surprised how well he played the first half of the season. But IMO to toughen up. He checked out after the hit. He often ran lazy routes, and seemed disinterested. If we get the first 9 games Keon, and we can build him up, that is awesome. But if we get the Keon we saw in playoffs and second half of the season, that was a bad selection, with a huge opportunity cost. Dalton - I loved the selection. He had a nice rookie season. Nothing sensational. I, like everyone else, thought Dalton was going to have a great 2nd season. I would focus on Dalton, on most plays. It was meh game after meh game. Dalton has many big drops, including the biggest. Most every football fan knows David Tyree’s name because made a play. To me, he does appear open, but at that point, Josh already progressed. Way too many times Dalton would be wide open, diving for a ball. Sometimes it was Josh, but not every time. I’m not sure what’s up with those 2. My gut feeling is Dalton Zigs when Josh throws to Zags. I have watched some film breakdowns and Dalton does draw a lot of coverage from opposing Ds. So opposing teams respect Dalton. Knee injuries are no joke, and I give Dalton respect for playing with a PCL tear. So that definitely affected Dalton success. Show me Dalton and Keon. Prove me wrong- that would make me very happy!

It’s not his forte, but zero power is a massive exaggeration made in order to try and prove your side of the argument.

Cory Booker: NAZI!!!!!
ComradeKayAdams replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You forgot that you had called me a cat?? That must have made reading my previous post a bit unsettling! 1. Why did you use the “overruled” word if you weren’t overruling me and didn’t think you can overrule anyone, including historians? So mysterious… 2. I’ve been consistent this whole time. Top-down government management and bottom-up worker co-op management are two organizational versions of the same system in which “workers own the means of production.” If you nationalize an industry (health care, energy, etc.), the employees in that industry are also taxpaying/voting citizens and therefore part of the ownership group. There are no uber-wealthy CEO’s and workers below the poverty line in a nationalized industry model. There WERE such things, however, throughout the entire Nazi Germany economy. 3. << hugs Leh-nerd >> 4. Hmmm…meh. << punches Leh-nerd >> Leh-nerd’s Catcalling Problems: Yes, I sometimes speak metaphorically. No, I am not an actual cat typing this out with a pair of heavy-handed paws. That would be patently absurd, Leh-nerd. Please try to keep up with me. It’s as if I’m traversing a 5-D hyperspace chessboard of communication with ease, while your 16 pieces are stuck on a congested 1-D line… Also, you should have gone with Catwoman instead of Garfield. Consider their main adversaries, too, and how they match our own adversarial relationship. Catwoman is super bad*ss and loves violently assaulting Batman. Nermal is far too cute. If they were to make a TBD PPP superhero movie for some reason, then obviously 1990’s Renee Zellweger (before Bridget Jones) would play my Catwoman and 1980’s Sloth Fratelli (during Goonies) would play your Batman. Kay’s Mean Meme: I viewed it as a fairly creative variation of the “Son I am Disappoint” meme. Not even a thumbs-up +1 rep boost?? Humph. << punches Leh-nerd >>
