How come when a player have a big game, they end up injured and out the following week. I've noticed a trend this season.

It's probably a turf toe thing - precautionary/recovery during the week and pain management while you play thru it.  The boot keeps you from flexing the joint and gives it time to calm the inflammation down.

Something is obviously going on with the training staff.

 

This is like the 10th practice mid week injury. I've never seen this before, literally ever 

 

So I don't know what they're doing but it's gotta stop

It may be more than other seasons. Sure. But I really think it's a matter of more people pointing it out more often, so it seems like a much bigger jump than normal.
