We are extremely blessed. I grew up in WNY and it’s not an easy place to be especially when you’re from beautiful northern Californian wine country. Not hating, this is just the truth.

The Bengals only path to victory with that roster is with a top 5 QB. It shouldn’t be a shock to anyone, least of all Burrow, that they only won 1 game without him. Their predominant cap investment relies on QB performance first and foremost.

Burrow can want whatever he wants but he will never get traded.

He attached himself to Parcells for a few years then got the Patriots job where he had amazing success as a coach when Tom Brady played quarterback.  All I'm saying is I think Belichick coached the Pats for 24 seasons and Brady was QB for 19 of them.  I believe all 19 of those seasons were winning records.  There were 5 seasons he coached without Brady and 4 of those years were losing records.  You can draw whatever conclusion you want and I'm fine with that.  I'll just say it again...in my opinion Brady>Belichick by a ton.

And that HC will be Joe Brady, if he's stupid enough to hitch himself to that wagon. But it will be his job to turn down, because GM Joe Burrow will demand it. Burrow gets what he wants in Cincinnati. Otherwise, he'll just stay home (alone).

In 2001, NE had the 5th ranked Defense in points allowed.  Brady threw 18 TDs and 12 INTs for 2843 yards

 

in 2003, NE had the #1 Defense and Brady threw 23 TDs and 12 INTs for 3600 yards.

 

He was a 3rd or 4th string QB who got his chance to prove teams wrong in the draft, becoming likely the GOAT QB.  But claiming that those first 2 SBs were a product of Brady's greatness makes little sense. It's akin to saying Bill Walsh was a creation of Joe Montana, having a losing record without him. Or that George Seifert was the talent behind Steve Young, as Young never had a winning season without Seifert as his coach--equally as dumb.

Are you talking about the George Seifert who coached 3 years in Carolina with a 16-32 record?  Not saying he's not a great coach, not saying Belichick isn't a great coach (although he is embarrassing himself currently with his life choices) just saying that coaches typically don't take average and make it great.

I don't think it would be a bad play by Brady to be honest.  You get a top 5 QB and some very effective offensive weapons.  The key would be hiring the right defensive coordinator.  An average D and the Bengals are a playoff team.  The only question would be Burrow's health.  But I suspect Brady would build a better running game which would somewhat protect Burrow.
