NewEra Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago He’s in the race. I don’t think his fate is in his hands, he’ll need a couple clunkers from Maye and Stafford. Or maybe one clunker from each of them if he goes Superman in each of the final 4 games Quote

Gregg Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I could care less if Allen wins another regular season MVP award. Now if he wins a Super Bowl MVP award to go along with a Super Bowl championship then that is different. The Lombardi is the only thing left for 17 to win. 1 Quote
Buffalo ill Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I hope he isn't in the running. It's unnecessary. He already got it last year so he can check it off his bucket list. Not that he needs the motivation, but letting the media praise someone else might be a good thing. That and the Lombardi trophy is the only one that matters. 2 Quote

I think he is the most valuable player to his team... but I honestly could care less if he wins it... its the Lombardi he needs... I suspect he may feel similar. Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago He's still in this. If we can beat Patriots then win out somehow? Josh Allen should be the favorite. Quote

You know who shouldn't be in the race anymore? Mahomes. He had a passing rater in a must-win game of 19.8. Seeing it’s a regular season award, the argument for drake Maye and a few playoff wins is invalid Quote

He and the Bills had time to recover from the losses in Baltimore and Houston, and actually the Houston debacle was where Josh stopped trying to be hero Josh and became deadly surgeon Josh. Quote
BillytheKid Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Just another stat for fun. On 3rd and 4th downs in the Cincy game, The Bills had 15 of them total. Josh had a QBR of 99. The highest you can get is 100. Never seen anyone get 100 either. But on 15 plays, the most critical to get a 99 QBR is incredible. The long touchdown run helped it a lot. Quote

skibum Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) It would require a pretty epic set of circumstances for Josh to pass Stafford and Maye. I would love to see those circumstances unfold, but it's just not going to happen. Edited 14 hours ago by skibum Quote
DrBob806 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago No, he's been just like the team, up & down, hot & cold. Quote
The Jokeman Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I'd say Cook's recent fumbles have pushed him down further on the list for possible league MVP but think he still our team MVP this season. 1 Quote
Udubalum07 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago If the bills win out, I think it would be a no brainer. That would mean Allen would have put together some great performances for it to happen, and teach 40 tds again. The only exception I could see happening is if Maye plays really well in the loss, and New England wins out after Buffalo, or if Stafford hits 50 touchdowns or close to it. Quote

zow2 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I think Allen would have to end the season with 4 really solid games, and maybe a couple of those need to be great like Cinci and Tampa were. We all know that the MVP will go to a QB likely on a high seeded team.. and I feel like they will favor someone who has not won it, or not won it in a while. Allen would have to do more than Stafford and Maye to win it back to back. Quote

His only competition at this point is Matt Stafford and Jonathan Taylor.......Taylor's season is about to get a lot harder due to his QB situation, and Stafford's numbers are impressive, but he has 2 #1 receivers to throw to. Josh Allen had a couple of off games this year, which set him back, but with a strong finish, back-to-back MVP's is still a realistic outcome!! Go Bills!!!!! Thoughts?? Well yeah... obviously. And it's Stafford and Maye as his competition. JT doesn't really have a chance to win MVP at this point. Honestly, if the Bills win against NE this weekend and Josh has game where he plays better than May I think he may end up becoming the betting favorite. Quote
