dayman Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Patriots pull Houston as 2v7 jaguars pull chargers 3v6 steers get bills 4v5 It’s very possible if that happens all road teams win which would give us chargers at home to play the winner of Houston/Denver. That gives us a serious shot at a home game and ensures we just have to play only one of Denver/Houston (probably our worst matchups). Interesting draw, if that holds. I’d rather do that than win the division and host Houston. Edited 5 hours ago by dayman 2 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Would be nice but to me the most likely scenario is that the Texans win out and they win the division. But yeah many things can still happen, including us getting seed 1. 1 Quote

The Texans defense may be good enough to win out, but Stroud is going to cost the a game possibly two down the stretch IMO. I said it in the game thread last night, but the scenario I'm hoping for is: Buffalo gets 5 seed and Pittsburgh wins their division. And that Kansas City makes it as the 7 seed. WC round: KC vs New England/Denver Chargers vs Jacksonville Bills vs Steelers Division round: KC vs Denver/New England Bills vs Chargers/Jags (Chargers game would be in Buffalo; Jags in Jacksonville) AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Bills defeat Chiefs in final game at the Ralph. 1 2 Quote

But yeah many things can still happen, including us getting seed 1. It’s still going to be very tough for the Texans to win the division mostly because Jacksonvilles schedule is very soft as well. Jacksonvilles last 4 games is Jets(w/Brady Cook?) Broncos (tough game but still winnable) Colts(w/Riley Leonard) Titans Jacksonville is going 3-1 at minimum and very well could go 4-0. Houston would have to go 4-0 to catch Jacksonville. Houston would win the division in this scenario though. So really that division is going to come down to Jacksonville beating Denver or Houston losing to the Chargers Quote
TheFunPolice Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If the Bengals bet the Ravens next week, it is actually not insane that they could still win that division. Here's the scenario: Bengals beat Ravens. Bengals then win out vs Browns, Cardinals and Dolphins. Steelers lose to Miami next week, then to the Lions, beat the Browns, then lose to the Ravens. Ravens lose to New England and Green Bay, then beat Pittsburgh This= Bengals win division. Now, that's a lot but none of it is particularly unlikely. Every season something nobody saw coming happens. BuffaloBillyG Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just now, BuffaloBill said: I do not but I also see Josh playing better a second time around. Agree there. These are grown men with a lot of pride. Not only do I see Josh playing better, but I think the offensive line as a whole took that domination personally and would up their game. And not an excuse, but Brown losing the use of one arm and Dawkins playing concussed didn't help matters. 1 Quote
warrior9 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't think the Texan's beat us again. I don't trust stroud. He was bad yesterday. The team is not winning because of him. My only concern is.... I don't trust Joe Brady to make adjustments. It would be Josh willing the team (like yesterday). Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Obviously I want the 1 Seed That said, if there's a year where you just want to get it, it's this one. I do not have abundant faith in Drake Maye, Bo Nix and Trevor Lawrence when the lights get bright Quote

It’s plausible taken game-by-game that the road team wins each of the three WCW matchups, for sure, especially with the matchups that you posted. I’d put the probability somewhere around 10-15%, though. Quote
stevestojan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This weeks bills team would beat the Steelers by 45. Next week? Could be a nail biter. Quote

Certainly looks manageable now that the Colts are wounded at QB. Quote

I’d rather do that than win the division and host Houston. The AFC looks mega weak. This is the year Buffalo is going to make the SB. I stand by my prediction. Defenses are really keying in on James Cook and things are finally opening up. This win was massive. It gave the passing offense confidence to start taking over games again. But i think Cook and the running game is what’s going to propel them all the way. Take away those uncharacteristic fumbles and the Bills don’t have to mount a ridiculous comeback to win. Quote
RobbRiddick Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago From my bad memory (even though it was only a few weeks ago) Josh had some success when rolling out Vs Houston. If we play them again I would go up tempo and have him do a lot of that. Get him moving around and throwing on the run. I'd also instruct him to just scramble them to death. See a lane and hit it, slide or get OOB so they can't take free shots at you which will frustrate the hell out of such an aggressive D. I think they would start getting chippy and get flagged a few times. Try and get a lead with this method and then hope Stroud poops himself and we get a couple of turnovers for short fields. That's what I'd try anyway! Quote
