Buffalo716 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) I want to add one thing that I really really really really really liked Came out early.. running a play that Peyton Manning mastered for 15 years.. something that Tom Brady took from him Trap pa TE cross face I was literally watching old Peyton Manning games and he kept going to trap crossface Offensive line is selling run block quick play action.. tight end crossface Peyton said himself it's unstoppable... We ran it multiple times today with great success It was something that Tom Brady picked up from Peyton and used with Gronk very very successfully... It really sells the run with the pulling guard This is going to be killer for us going forward even with it on tape because we have a very good running game Edited 14 hours ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

GunnerBill Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Was an incredible throw. Josh threw a couple of bad screens, one incomplete and one caught but basically killed dead by ball placement. Otherwise he was perfect in that game, in the snow. I thought he looked as in command pre-snap as he has in a while too. That might be down to the schematic simplicity of the Cincy D... but regardless, it was good to see. 1 Quote
Mr. WEO Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago In NFl history? Great throw, but it's not even Josh's best. Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It was a great throw but not one of the best in nfl history…come on. But is also happened due to down and distance. It was also a risky throw which is well advised on a fourth down when you have little to lose by taking an incomplete or sack or even int. Gotta give yourself a chance and he did. He does not make that throw on first and ten. Josh Allen understands down and distance, situational football and adjusts his willingness to take a chance based on that. It showed more his football intelligence to me than it was a great throw. If the defender has his back turned the wr is open. 1 Quote
26TrapDraw Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Does anyone in the NFL deserve a championship more than Josh Allen? It actually hurts my heart that in spite of the ineptitude of this organization to surround this all world QB with the right team to win a title he still plays out of this world. There has never been or will ever be someone on this team better than him. EVER and they can’t get him a championship. just garbage. Edited 4 minutes ago by 26TrapDraw Quote

The talk here in Cincinnati for the past few weeks is that Al Golden "simplified" the defense to get better play from the scrubs he has at his disposal. They're not running any stunts, and they're not disguising coverages. It all worked against an imploding Ravens team, and everyone thought the problems were fixed. I guess not. 1 Quote
James Can Cook Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago This game made me jump off the couch and yell multiple times, this was one of them. Josh is unreal. 1 Quote

Yes it’s a why not situation Burrow had a masterful game other than 2 plays. Reminded me so much of the way Tom Brady used to carve up the drought teams. Accuracy and timing are top tier. 1 1 Quote

Simon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just now, GunnerBill said: Did he slip? I didn't see that. Haven't watched the game back yet. Allen led him like he often does on those flares and with the issues Johnson seemed to be having I wonder if his lack of traction kept him from accelerating into the throw. When Josh is in the zone and wheeling and dealing like he was, it's uncommon to see him miss a throw like that. 1 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 16 hours ago, Mikie2times said: Amazing throw. I would argue this isn’t even in Allen’s top 3. Just off the top of my head, the pass to Murray in the Chiefs game, the Ty Johnson throw in the Denver playoff game, the TD to Knox in the Patriots playoff game, the throw to Shakir vs Baltimore regular season last year. I mean this is literally just the tip of the iceberg. He has some of the most improbable completions we have ever seen. This doesn't only related to you specifically but I admire the memories of some of you. There are so many games that I can hardly remember how we scored TDs last game, not to mention some throws three years ago. There are exceptions though, like his deep TD to Foster in the first Jags game. Quote

The difficulty of this throw is hard to quantify. It shouldn’t even be possible. The defenders this ball had to go past… the accuracy… the evasiveness… and to hit Shakir right dead set in the numbers. Incredible. Amazing throw. Thank you for finding this and pointing it out. I'd like to call out the role of Josh's OL in continuing the play and enabling the throw, as well. Notice how Torrence hustles over and screens off Josh from the incoming 99, giving Josh just that extra moment to plant and release. We also have to believe that the run threat Josh represents enables that play. Why doesn't 92 commit and launch a tackle to try to bring Josh down? I would think he was coached that he had to maintain contain, if he launches himself to tackle Josh before another defender is in position to back him up, Josh could evade him and be halfway to the endzone. I work in an organization that has people from all over the country. Several times, when the conversation would turn to football and I mentioned I'm a Bills fan, folks would say something to the effect, 'Not a big Bills fan, but Josh Allen absolutely deserves a championship.' Even a Chiefs fan said that. 1 Quote
