Yeah, I kinda think if we play Houston again, the OL and Josh will take it personally. They got embarrassed on national TV.

I acknowledge that their defense is amazing this year, but their offense isn't good enough to outscore Josh Allen twice in the same season. I like our odds in a rematch.

I'm not so sure. I was thinking the offense would have played better after having a nearly identical poor showing the season prior. Apparently, they just though last year was a fluke though.

Mahomes didn’t seem to spend much time with Stroud during the hand shake

Mahomes was intimidated and nervous meeting a top 5 QB

The Houston doomers need to calm down

Houston Texans threw the kitchen sink at us. We had a terrible game, too. And we almost won.

We know their game plan. They're not going to change that much. It's gonna be a tougher battle, for them, next time.

I agree, but I think everyone forgets that we did not play against CJ Stroud.

Let’s put it to you like this.

You know those Tyreek Hill/Mahomes Chiefs offenses?

The Texans have the defense version of that.

Only super elite defenses rarely ever have bad days.

2017 Patriots gave like 17 points per game and then gave up 40 versus Nick foles in the Super bowl

and that team had Tom Brady

It's still going to come down to CJ Stroud

True.

They should have dominated the weak soft washed up Chiefs tonight. The final score was still close.

Yeah, don't forget about that pass in the flat on Hunt's back shoulder, also.  Those are super-hard to catch on a full run.  Mahomes deep ball floated short on him too.  Definitely seems like he's losing a bit of his edge.

True but did you see him limp? What a competitor.

Disagree. The offense actually played better this year, Josh especially. We also were down 2 WR (Coleman and Samuel) and Kincaid. And we still had a chance to win at the end.

I would also put both our starting OTs being injured during a rematch at pretty low odds.

There's enough there for me to believe we win a rematch.

spare me … those prior games will count for nothing

They have been extremely bad. Some places are just places you don't wanna go in the playoffs. This year, they have the best defense in the league, you really want that? In their house?

It was a close game but we also needed a kick off return TD to keep it close. I don't like our odds of getting another one of those.

Either way, it looks like the Jags should actually be able to win that division. Pretty soft schedule for them to finish.

We gotta expect to play someone good  in the playoffs on the way to a SB …. Their D is great but I believe we can  take them

Exactly.

Chiefs are not going to be there because they're good but just missed

They won't be there because they just aren't very good this year.

Their offense gets to play our defense. Our offense has to play their defense. It would be a dogfight.

So if the bills  have to play them … should they bother to show … after losing by 4 a few weeks ago when they had first down on their 29 with 40 seconds to go

Texans probably have to win out to win the division…they’ve got a schedule where they probably can but jags have a pretty easy road too
