Everyone keeps saying how terrible the Bengals offensive line and defensive are. I know that Burrow has been out for most of the year, but why are they so bad? They have been a perennial playoff team for the past 10 years or so

I think we’ll know pretty early on. If we’re playing way off their WRs and not challenging anything, we’re going to get smoked. I disagree with some that say McD will bring something new this week.

I said this last week and I will say it again.  If you are Josh Allen and you play through every injury you have and always find a way well when he walks into this locker room he must just roll his eyes when he hears the news about kincaid, palmer and samuel.  He will never admit it publicly but as comepetitive as he is and as much of a trash talker as he is....can you imagine what he thinks about these guys who are always hurt with some new aliment that keeps them out of practice all week and then somehow keep missing all these games.

 

Whatever it is in their scouting that keeps landing them these guys with constant injuries they need to figure out and correct immediately when the season is over.

I played In an adult amateur league (some call it semi-pro) and was questionable for a game once and our quarterback asked if my (slang for female genitalia) was hurt. I ended up playing. 
 

can’t imagine what the pressure to play in the NFL is like in comparison. Everyone is depending on you with generational wealth at stake.

They haven’t made the playoffs since 2022. Burrow was healthy last year and they didn’t make the playoffs…and the D is worse this year. If Burrow had been healthy all year they’re not a legit playoff team (granted, with that division, they might have made it.)

They let the Jets score 39 points. If our offense can't put up points against the Bengals then they might as well just pack their bags and call it a season.

i mean in consecutive weeks from mid-Oct to mid-Nov the Bengals gave up 31, 39, 47, 34.

They improved the past two games vs NE and Balt, so we will see if that continues.

Expect this to be a heavy set and James Cook game.  I can see us playing it just like against the Steelers.  Allen roughly 20 or so passes and Cook with 30 or so.  A lot of play action too.
