Eagles and Ravens seem to keep stacking at the low end of the drafts.

Ahem Jalen Carter 9th overall, Jordan Davis 13th overall, DaVonta Smith 10th overall in 2021-2023. Also last I checked the Ravens have drafted lower then the Bills almost every season but once  the last decade.

Allen will wrap up his career with his boyhood team, 49ers...or his current hometown team, Rams.  Just not sure when that will be?

This is dumb.  The Bills are never going to do a true hard reset with Josh Allen still in his prime.

It's

Not

Happening

Beane (or whoever our GM is) can certainly get more aggressive with our retooling.  But a hard rebuild isn't in the cards for probably the next 5+ years at least.

Josh Allen will be in Buffalo as the QB of the Buffalo Bills for the foreseeable future.

Sorry the draft is not just one round bud!

O line isn’t cutting it, can’t pass protect, you’ve seen it slipping all year, wideouts room is one of the weakest in the league, LB’s are small and always hurt, secondary has a couple of younger nice pieces but needs help and for  all the resources we threw at the d-line it’s the same old story.  This roster needs a lot of work, not to mention the OC isn’t really good and McDermott appears to have hit his ceiling.

I think each season we move a little bit more in the wrong direction.

Well expressed.

What are going to be the tweaks

we have very little pass rush

we are worst in stopping the run

our LBs are pathetic

our DBs are below average

money is stuck in all of them and cannot be easily moved.  Groot, Benford, Bernard, Johnson

We need replacements in 2026 for the following as they are FA

Ogunjobie, Bosa, Milano, White, Epensa, Jones, Porter, Shaq.

your draft picks have not panned out - Anderson, Solomon,

both Hoecht and Oliver will be coming from serious injuries. Who know how their rehab will go or if they will be back in their prime.

they say typically you have a 30% roster turnover.  But this is disaster

this is just the defense.

We don't need a tear down and rebuild. I think people forget that we are 7-4. A 7-4 team needs tweaks. Not a full blown rebuild.

This is why McDermott should have been fired after 13 seconds

Every season since has been a waste because we found out that day that McDermott didn't stack up against the best coaches and QB's

I argued with posters here over and over and I was told just be grateful we have a contender and that we don't wanna risk going backwards

Everyone that settled back then can't complain about wasting Josh Allen's prime

There is 0 percent chance they are tearing it down this offseason going into a year where they are opening a new stadium. It’s much more likely they take some big swings this offseason to get people excited all offseason leading into the opening weekend of the new stadium.

What a dopey comment. Might be somewhere in between.

If you have your qb, it’s near instant with one good offseason.

I would have said this question was ridiculous at the start of the season.

I recognize that this is pure conjecture, but Allen genuinely doesn’t seem happy.

And I understand how difficult (and perhaps unfair) that is to infer form facial expressions on television, but there is a clear delineation between his attitude the past 7 years and this year.

He just looks… down. Apathetic. Zero fire.

If I were to hazard a guess straight of my (bleep), I would say he doesn’t care to relive groundhog day again.

One of the swings I would like them to make, is on a OC with experience that will install his own system…

I am not optimistic of that happening though

McD and Beane will never get the roster right so there’s only one choice. Rebuild with a new regime or collapse and Josh demands a trade. Letting Beane or McD choose the new players acquired from a Josh trade would be absolutely catastrophic.

The team needs to be rebuilt.  Option 1 - we start down another 8 year "process" with McDermott . Option 2 - try something different.

So there’s what I want - which is to clean house from GM to Waterboy, and what’s realistic - there’s ZERO chance Beane and McD aren’t back next year.

Look at the owner guys. Pegula has let Adam’s stay as Sabres GM when any other team in the league would have fired him 3 years ago.

Beane and McD are going nowhere. So get used to it, and let’s consider what are options are.

1) I’d fire both coordinators and hire experienced coordinators who were ex head coaches if posssible. McD needs to abandon his scheme, it has never worked and is built to defend one team- KC. It is not built to defend modern offenses which are transitioning to a much more run heavy scheme.

2) Lean into the offense. We obviously need 2 high quality WRs. Idk how to get that done, that’s just what we need, Keep them on the field, no more of this “everybody eats” BS which means we don’t have any really good guys. We’ve got the QB, RB, and TE already. O-line just needs to be average.

3) Cut all the dead weight. White, Poyer, Milano, Phillips, Rapp, Ogun, Bosa, Johnson ( might be stuck with the restructure), Coleman, Moore, Samuels, I’d even jettison that fat fk Dawkins but it won’t happen.

4) Accept that for at least a year we are going to suck and get the new blood valuable reps. Max, Hancock, Sanders,  Walker.

Fug that. I'm a Bills fan first and foremost. I still hate what Sabres got back for Hasek.

Yeah all those guys minus Hasek felt like me guys first even before we moved them.

Man Hasek and Allen have a lot in common playing in Buffalo they both had to carry there teams on there backs.
