Also, did Shavers even have any snaps on offense? Instead we get worthless Elijah Moore. Not sure what game you were watching but Shavers and Gabe were out there a lot. 46 minutes ago, Brianmoorman4jesus said: Guys that can help you score on gameday are inactive every week because of Special teams. A unit that was almost completely phased out for safety reasons years ago and barely matters. We are the only team in the league that still is obsessed with special teams. Listen to wgr. The shills can’t go 5 minutes on the pregame without mention what a guy gives you on teams. Chris Brown and Sal bring it up constantly. All that to turn around and be terrible at it every single year. Special teams is the unit for the guys not good enough to play real positions. You literally don’t even have to catch a punt ever and it won’t hurt you but we still can’t get this ***** right. Who isn’t playing that can help us score? Quote

Win that battle, and we win the game. We gave them 6 points and got nothing in return. Why did we win 13 games last year? We did not turn the ball over. Why do we have 4 losses this year--8 turnovers in those games? It's not that complicated: Protect the Ball! You have to protect the ball when you play slow, plodding clock control complementary offense because every drive comes at a premium Quote
thronethinker Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago And this is why they should have kicked the FG every time and walked away with a win. 2 Quote

BuffaloBaumer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The crazy part about the entire night is that they were one toe tap away from winning that game in the end. Quote

Even if you stop their pass rush, which we came nowhere close to doing, they have two studs at CB too. Combine that with our crappy WRs, turned into a recipe for disaster. If it weren’t for our defense finally showing up in the 2nd half, we wouldn’t have had a shot at the end. The mediocre Jags, with one Offensive weapon (Etienne--Thomas isn't lighting it up this year) put up 29 points (and blew a late 3rd Q 29-10 lead) on this Defense a week ago. Quote

We started off great and Mills was awful early then our offensive and defensive play calling got cute and McD again mismanaged the game as per usual. It’s the reason every year we don’t get the 1 seed and it’s the reason we fall flat in the playoffs to better coached teams. 1 Quote

I think McBeane wants to field a similar defense as Houston, get pressure with 4, right. If that is his objective than McBeane has failed miserably beyond comprehension at trying to accomplish that and McBeane needs to be shown the door. 1 Quote

However, as badly as we were getting manhandled , we still could have won the game if McD didn't make the mistake of going for it on 4th down from their 30-something line. That would have let us kick the winning fg as time expired. That is what @thronethinkeris referring to. In game, I was wishing we kicked the FG. McD needed to be more game aware. This was a bigger failure than the entire mess that was our offense Edited 52 minutes ago by Fan in Chicago 1 Quote

Kaenon Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago Cook was working and was 7 for 76 yards at halftime and into the 3rd quarter before running him again. We tried to get into shootout mode because Brady was still thinking about the 6 TD fireworks performance from last week. Then until the last drive realized he can't call the plays he's called because of the Texans Defense. Josh very animatedly on the sidelines after a terrible sequence even mouthed, "what are we doing?" Quote
