Typical Bills to tease us to win this awful game and then find a Billsy way to screw up. If Josh throws that pass to Davis 1 yard more in bounds we win. But thats always the way isnt it? If Dawkins the veteran actually paid attention to the snap count, we probably get a first down and call timeout but no of course he has to move.  I'm sorry but even with the depleted talent, Joe Brady has no excuses for serving up that plate of feces. Maybe 4 or 5 good play calls all night. Daboll or a competent OC wins that game with this team. A competent OC counterattacks the blitzs but not our Joe.  As for the defense? Got better in the 2nd half but they are the worse tacklers in the league, out of position and often too small to compete. White is a complete liability out there, never looks at the ball on pass defense and prays for a drop or out of bounds because he is always out of position.

 

Every year with McD there are games which are completely blown that come back to haunt us. I think all 4 losses count in that category.

But the bottom line is that we didn't come close to deserving that game. That was an absolutely dominant effort & win for the Texans.  It never felt like we were in it after we gave up the lead.

 

We scored one offensive TD.

 

Yet we were still in it up until the very end somehow and this coaching staff proves yet again they're not up to it.

The few times Brady did, the Texans blew up the middle of the line.  It was comically bad.

sure, if we pinned the Texans back with bad field position every time, instead of them doing that to us. Davis Mills isn’t driving 90 yards down the field multiple times.

Texans did absolutely nothing in the second half which kept them in it…I don’t think the kickoff return really changed much tbh funny enough…I don’t think the Texans woulda had time to answer with a td of their own if we didn’t return that kick

Dawkins did his weekly dumbass false start and it killed us.  That plus having an OC who has no idea how to call plays against an aggressive D.  The line sucked but that was more due to the Texans having extraordinary physical talent.  But where were the screens?  Delayed handoffs/draws?  Quick slants?  Where?  Instead we’re back to Josh running around trying to be a hero.

Again Sean McDermott does not bring in the groceries he does not control this franchise like Bill belichick

What is Sean McDermott supposed to say you let our pro bowler walk and I have a third round pick who had one good year and he's 225 lb 

 

Sean McDermott is not control of giving him 45 million that's on the general manager.. I'm sure Sean said hey we have no linebackers 

 

So beane did that... I'm a hundred percent certain Sean McDermott doesn't think Bernard is a better linebacker than Edmunds and he didn't say hey let him walk and resign this guy for well above market value 

 

Bernard is worth five or six million dollars a year we gave him double 

 

That is on the general manager

The personnel is the problem and who's responsibilty is that?

This game hurt the fans feelings.  Players on both teams dropping like flies, the officials…I don’t think any one team should be subjected to 2 Thursday Night games, 1 is bad enough.

 

It pains me we lost to their backup but that’s a whole other post I don’t have the energy for lol
