SCBills Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago Brady is getting COOKED on X by the Warren Sharp’s and Pete Prisco’s of the world. Jill Kelly letting us know Jim is fed up. John Fina destroying Brady’s protection scheme. Bloodbath. 2 1 Quote

The defense didn’t play well in stretches, but did keep the team in games and gave them multiple chances to win. The offense continues to come up small. Yikes the Bills D in each game was horrific for at least a half of all these games. They could not stop the run nor pressure the QB. Puts undue pressure on the O. ST is bottom 10 rated. The O is not the problem but certainly is not as good as it should be. 1 Quote

To not take even 1 shot down the field, whether it is completed or not, is just unforgivable, especially when the Texans are playing 8-9 guys within 10-15 yards of the LOS. And all Brady does is run mesh over and over again right in front of them. What does he expect to gain by doing this? This isn't college where your WRs are just better than the defensive backs and they can just outrun them. This is the NFL and you win games with explosive plays, not running east and west every single freaking play. This is an embarrassment for any coordinator let alone one with Josh freaking Allen at QB. I'm at the point whre I think someone has to get fired and I think that person is Joe Brady 2 Quote

Think you are not being realistic. That game was on the offense...they got chance after chance after chance in the 2nd half and kept squandering them. Disagree. Unless Allen plays like superman and the rest of the offense plays at least competently, which neither did tonight, the Bills aren't scoring more then 20 points on the road against the #1 Defense in the NFL. The current offensive roster is simply not close to being good enough to win the game without a dominating defensive performance. In the 1st half the Bills D gave up 201 yards and 20 points. Like in the Atlanta game the D's terrible first half play pretty much lost the game. The Bills offense is top rated primarily because of Allen's play with a healthy assists from Cook. Without Allen the offense is in the bottom half of the league rankings right alongside their bad D. So I won't blame an offense that hasn't been properly constructed to accept that responsibility. I suspect there are numerous front offices throughout the NFL who are professionally aghast at the way the Bills have decided to build a roster with Allen as QB. Cowherd has alluded to two different GM's he talks to regularly who can't believe how the Bills are employing Allen. Quote

The defense vs atlanta in the first half was about as bad as a pro football team can play defense in this league. A common theme in all of those games (except NE) is that the defense was a sieve in the first half and had the team down multiple scores before you could blink. It changes the mood of the game and the offense starts to chase points and force things because it looks like the defense won't make a stop all day. So +1 to your point here. They won't do it during the season because they don't have anyone else to call plays. Maybe Kromer could do it, but that's about it. And there is no chance McDermott calls Daboll in. Even if he did, he'd probably decline. Unfortunately, we're just stuck..... Edited 37 minutes ago by sven233 Quote

None of the Ls were out of hand until late. If expecting the offense to move the ball and score points with Josh Allen at QB is too much to ask, due to the immense pressure the defense puts them under, then might as well cancel the remaining games. Like I hate when people say we are wasting Allen’s career. I hate reading it. Until tonight I have pushed it off. Because it’s true. It’s all true. We suck. It’s over. Quote
