It’s both. The roster as a whole is atrocious

Defense is an absolute dumpster fire.

Offense is a unicorn QB, with a great OL, good RB room and mid or made of glass everywhere else.

Why exactly did we pay Shakir?  To be a RB we pass the ball to on screens?  But that’s the type of player we pay… above average but not great and doesn’t scare anyone.

Just unbelievable, beane has done a terrible job, and I know we got two guys out , but it wouldn’t change that much

essentially they are just missing rapp, hill and hoecht.  The defense should not completely fall apart with 3 starters out.....effected and not as good yes but this bad no way.

throw in this is two weeks in a row where we are getting breaks and playing teams with major injuries on offense.

its just absurd how bad they are.

Davis gives us the lead & the momentum heading into halftime.  Then our soft defense again gives up a TD drive.  This is just the same song, 100th verse of the McDermott era.  We regularly give up scoring drives at the end of each half.  If Josh didn’t bail us out in the 4th quarter so often, I think McDermott would’ve lost his job years ago.

Josh has completed 75% of his passes and yet the game feels like a hot mess.

Low yards, no tds and an int. That's why. Those dumb bubble screens. It's like Brady is just closing his eyes and picking the plays.

A bad offense has scored 20 points and run up 201 yards against the Bills D in one half. Allen is clearly getting antsy on the sidelines which means some more forced passes and potential INT's.  To give up a 75 yard drive, all through the air, at the end of the half was beyond inexcusable.  In the end Bean & McD have focused on the D and they have nothing to show for it.

He has to be.  He's a DEFENSIVE COACH.

This is beyond deja vu at this point. The defenses under McD fail consistently.

they need to get out of nikel and go with traditional 4-3 and run dime packages more on the thrid down passing downs ...Taroun is playing hurt as he has lost a step ...but going to a 4-3 would have about the same results

Can’t stop a nosebleed. We ain’t making the playoffs

I think they make it. But won’t beat any playoff teams on the road. Not happening.

Allen and Cook

and Bishop

Think he saved a couple TDs ... did not matter in the end tho lol

Once again, this directly points to Beane.  His drafting is terrible and all these posts about how he is above average are terrible as well.

Complimentary football boys and girls. Bad run D, bad pass D.

We'll look at the film and learn from it by week 20. Wait, there is no week 20!

I wouldn't say great oline. They're mid at best this year

Bills are actually lucky to be this close

Agreed and we needed a kickoff return to be this close while the leagues MVP completed 75% of his passes. Geeeez!

Josh has a whole half to get 6 TDs

Realistically the 49ers are doing more with less, on both sides of the ball

way more injuries than we are dealing with

Shanahan is an evil genius who sacrifices his players bodies for the machine, but no doubt his scheme and his play calling aptitude are special.
