unless the Texans get a D/ST score or a very short field from a turnover, I see them having a hard time scoring more than 21 points, and probably not even 20.

Stubbed his toe jumping into the cold pool after the game.

Is pool toe as bad a sturf toe?

Haven't done a deep dive scouting report on the Texans other than a very stout defense and really good edge rushers.

So my question for someone who has done some research is how is their edge against the rush?

Sometimes, to be a good pass rushers you have to be long and lean, but that body type isn't necessarily good against a large drive blocking offensive tackle on running plays.

I keep thinking of the Bills prime time game a couple of years ago when they faced the great Cowboy defense and Parsons and just ran all over them for the same reason...Allen hardly threw at all.

If that were the case, the real key is to play from the lead and not to have to play catch up.

Thursday games are often total clunkers and difficult to watch.

The way this season has gone, the unexpected has been happening more than you would expect.

So, what’s the unexpected in this game?  All Bills’ TDs are scored by Coleman on special teams plays, the Texans run game is stuffed, and the Bills win in OT with a safety.

That’s a hell of a payoff for my parlay!

Strength (our offense) against strength (their defense). Weakness (our D) against weakness (their O). That's why I'm not buying into playing high risk high reward ball tomorrow. It is likely coming down to who makes less mistake. For example, if we get a turnover from their offense, it might just tilt our strength winning against their strength in terms of scoring. Conversely, if we give them a turnover, it is likely to tilt their weakness winning against our weakness.

Read somewhere that the Bucs game was the first one this year where we did not lose a defensive player.

When I was watching the game with my friend we were deep in the 4th quarter and I told him to remind me to say something when the game ended.

I wanted to point this exact thing out, but I didn't want to jinx it while the game was still running.

Bills main goal should be to erase Nico Collins and force someone else to beat them.

As bad as our run defense is, Chubb is more worrisome than Collins

I think we’re doing a little too much here with this Texans defense. Outside of a bizarre week 1 game (which was a loss) what good QB have they kept in check? Aside from the fact that they have barely played any…teams have gotten theirs. They are pretty good. Let’s relax here. They aren’t better than the KC defense. We can score on them

Since this is a Thursday night game does that mean Practice Squad Elevations are due by 4 pm EST today?  That's an hour and 20 minutes from now.

The 3 players up for this to me would be Davis, Latu and Fox.

I'm kinda hoping they elevate Latu and Fox and bring Davis up to the active roster while putting someone like Mathis on IR.

I think Keon sits another week and Moore gets in there for Samuel.

Keon is just hurting Josh's progressions.  He's not available off the snap and there's going to be no time against Houston to mess around.  If Keon does happen to play, I think he gets fewer than 10 snaps.  My predictions for WR's this week:

Shakir

Palmer

Shavers

Gabe

Moore

I strongly disagree on your first sentence. The prevalent rumor is that he was set to play last weekend until he missed a meeting Friday. I actually think that's a true one.

I do agree that he just hurts the progressions. But if he plays I think he will see more than 10 snaps, some coming in relief of Shakir who is banged up as well.

He tweeted this after getting backlash for that hit on Lawrence. Total nutcase.

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the nose. It's time for him to meet Spencer Brown.

Hearing that Mills throws 75% to his first read made me think of Tua. Wonder if the Bills have the personnel to run the d they used two years ago in Buffalo against Miami.
if this wasn’t a short week I would be more confident the Bills O puts up more than 30, as it is I expect the Bills to win by 10.

Marks is their main back I think at this point

I heard they were smaller and lighter through the middle of their dline and that is where you need to run against them.

The Bills are enroute to Houston now.  I'm not sure how they will endure a 2hr 53min flight, their longest of the season by far.  Hopefully they can overcome the adversity of the travel and the central time zone.

I’d love to see Gore up. I’m assuming it’s going to be pretty physical and this offense goes through the RBs. Idk how people weren’t picking up on that all last year with Brady. By far the most important players in his offense are the RBs. When we are clicking, the RBs are making plays in the passing game. Having as many playmakers active at RB is our way to explosive plays. A WR trade never made sense because WRs are the 3rd most important thing in our passing game.

1-RBs

2- TE

3- WRs

thsts why we don’t have a big name. That’s why we didn’t trade for one. There’s no point. They won’t be used
