Ironically, the double down likely would have been Franklin (or maybe Baker). They seemed like the guys that “slipped.” Baker looks like a disaster. Franklin would have ended up as the Benford to Coleman’s Elam. Franklin isn’t as good as Benford but the point being, he looks like a solid starting WR.

I dont think thats it.   I dont think he is a malicious dude.  I think he is a very young and stupid 23 years old.   Because of the immaturity I dont get the sense he understands the seriousness of the business he is in.    He also doesnt have the luxury of being elite.

I think he is just not very good in the role he was drafted to play. He wasn't very good at that role even in Florida.

I do remember him not being your #1 WR, good call, and I think it is fair that at the moment he hasn't looked like a top 5 pick. 

 

On the flipside I also think the level of his struggles have been slightyly exaggerated too. He is averaging almost 55 yards per game and has 12 NFL touchdowns in 26 starts and without stellar QB play. People attaching words like "bust" to him are over the top IMO. Not saying you are doing that but some are. It is just that the expectations were sky high.

 

If that class was re-drafted by the NFL today he'd still go around the top half of round 1 I think. But yea, probably outside the top 10.

Ya I still don't even think he gets it which is the most annoying thing.

1. He is doing tik tok dances in the pre game when he's inactive which is just a horrible look IMO

If this was a first offense, maybe. And Dion has stayed positive and supportive through 2 other incidents that we know of. Not to mention the loafing in games that is on tape for all to see. No telling what else this knuckle-head has missed or half-assed behind the scenes that we are unaware of. This has obviously been building with the staff and team for a while. At some point, the love and support method isnt working so time to turn to tough, honest love.

 

Dion will be here and be Captain long after Coleman is cut and becomes a mere footnote.

I don’t care about Keon anymore, I just want our coaches to to the best thing for the Bills.

 

Given that he sat and we scored 44 points, after a game in which he was clearly jogging and not even turning around on plays where the ball was thrown to him, I think he should sit unless we absolutely need him due to injuries to Palmer, Davis, Moore and Samuel.

The last few games with Brissett there were flashes of greatness. I obviously still believe in him. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he had a top 5 receiving season next year. He’s the guy I’d try to deal for but doubt that they will. The only hope is that they’re hitting the reset at QB and may want the ammo.

The Coleman hate-fest allows people to enjoy and indulge in Dion's public criticism of a teammate.

 

IMO there was no reason to go public... words said to Coleman in private by a "respected team leader" should suffice.

 

Dion has 4 false starts and 2 holding penalties and is playing at a lower level than last year but I guess when you get the keys to the city, you can say what you want when you want, regardless of your own performance.
