Couldn’t disagree more!  This is one of the worst threads I have ever seen on this board!

I’m just glad Josh is a team player and continues to shoulder the blame for others.  He’s done that every game, every year.  He could be like many other players and throw shade at other players, creating a bad locker room.

Josh isn’t perfect, he has good games and bad games like everyone else.  He’s a rare star player that shoulders the responsibility for team losses, even when he wasn’t the reason for the loss.

Oh I agree Josh is our guy with out a doubt but given what he did last year then the supposed "Upgrade" at the WR position it just seemed as this was going to be a better year and that last year wasn't just a fluke so my thing with him getting married and the other distractions were just a thought .

There is also a lot to be said about chemistry between the QB and the WR's & others ! I think Knox has proven that if targeted more he is a weapon, he was before Kincaid got here & Brady seems to forget about him and focus to much on Kincaid a lot use them all to their strengths he has the weapons I think Shavers is under utilized in the Red zone too !

I also thought that if Cooper had more time to work with Josh that with his experience in route running they could have made a bit of noise, in one season he put a all time Bills classic play on tape with the throw back to Josh can you imagine if the trust factor would have had a chance to grow .

I also think if they asked Cooper now to come out of retirement that he would but that too is to little to late and a topic for anther conversation !!

But I now do believe that the players that were suppose to be all that aren't or the chemistry between them and Josh is just wrong or not there like it was with Hollins and others last season . Don't know the answer it's all speculation with me I'm just a fan !!

Sorry for the rant .

All good T.  On this  One point I disagree.  That’s all buddy.

He has lost confidence in himself. We know he can thread the needle. i am really getting tired of everybody on this board saying we need a #1 WR.  Stop looking at josh at the snap and look at how many people are open down field, even if it is only 7-10 yards downfield. He needs to work on everything. i am afraid no one is going to hold his feet to the fire. Yea, we got shi!!y play calling by the coaches on both sides of the ball. Of Course, WE won't bench him (don't want to see Mitchell in there). but he needs to not watch

film, he needs to start working on his craft and throw the damn ball. re watch the last 3 games or so and you will see. Also, when we don't run the ball i'm pretty sure Josh feels that he needs to put on his cape and save the day. I would have loved to see him just throw the ball in the dirt or out of bounds, just to get better play calls. He is Way better than this!! Thanks

Tell me you have mental problems without telling me you have mental problems.

I agree with just about everything aside from benching him.

There are definitely people open in these games, and he's not throwing to them. It's a reocurring theme. And although I think we definitely need better WRs, Josh isn't hitting the ones we have. Even in games where he plays well, he's not seeing people downfield. Look at these from the Chiefs game:

And from the Pats game:

People get open, but Allen's not seeing them or gets happy feet & runs into pressure.

I think the defense has underachieved in the playoffs, definitely. Equally in 2019 the offense puking all over itself up 16 and turning the ball over was a big part of the collapse. And neither side of the ball played well in the 2020 AFCCG. 2021 was totally on defense. 2022 both sides of the ball. 2023 and 2024 defense bad but offense had the ball at the end chance to win and couldn't get it done both times.

But the regular season defense has, despite your protestations, been good until the last year and a half. If you want to knock the last year and a half be my guest. But if you have watched every snap of the era and say the defense has only had about 5 good games you are lying.

I’m not lying. I’m going to put it this way. I’m in no way confused about what I’m seeing. You can tell me I’m wrong but it’s ridiculous. All of the years I’m speaking of

-we never stop the run. You can look at misleading stats. The truth is, every physical team blows us off the ball and has whatever they want on the ground. We are allowing way too many big runs and guys are either stopped for a loss or going 6 or 7 yards before they are touched. We are terrible tacklers, teams just gash us whever they feel. The truth is our offense is so great that most teams can’t stick to the run. Most of the time we are scoring enough to where teams are forced to come off of it. In tight games where teams can stay physical, we are always giving up backbreaking runs and drives.

- we can’t get off the field on third down. It doesn’t matter distance. If a QB is patient, we won’t get to them and a guy will be open somewhere. How many times have we felt good about making two stops only to turn around and be let down? We constantly give up long drives that flip fields and or lead to points. It’s like clockwork in the playoffs. There is no way anyone can watch this defense and feel good about third down.

- we NEVER make a big stop. Every single time we are in a tight one and need to get the ball back, the other team scores. It’s constant. I can think of so few times in this guys entire coaching career where I thought momentum was changing and if we get a quick 3 and out and we actual do it. It’s so disheartening and it’s so plain as day predictable. There’s no way to play complementary football because we can’t ever get the other team to punt.

- we never force 3 and outs. How many times have we punted a team deep, or kicked off to start a game only to watch the field get completely flipped? How often have we felt a tide turning or had a chance to go up multiple scores only to watch the other team go on a long drive that ultimately puts us either behind or back on our own 10. There’s never a time that we just get a team to punt. Make a normal quick stop and get the ball back for our offense.

none of this is in my head, it’s all happening right in-front of our eyes for years. The only thing we ever did well was force turnovers. That’s bull####. That’s luck. It’s not sustainable and you can’t rely on it. That’s not about playing good defense it’s just a bailout. Some people don’t want to see what’s infront of their own eyes. If you don’t think our own offense is the only reason our defensive stats aren’t even more damning…idk what to tell you. Im not just saying this to say it.

THIS HERE!! Is what I meant when Insaid Bills fans over react to a bad loss! Didn’t he just have his best game against KC the week before?  RELAX the Bills as a team, coaches included looked beyond the Dolphins and were looking ahead to Tampa Bay.

Agreed. They didn't want to play up tempo due to the heat, got behind and chased the game. Josh had two killer TOs, and the depleted defense was gassed and let up two bigs runs late. Ballgame. We need guys to come back on D and not turn the ball over on O.

Sometimes there are goes open for a minute underneath but most of the time there isn’t. Most of the time they start to get open underneath Josh is getting pressured or we are already 3rd and long or something.

A lot of the freeze frames I see people post here or on Twitter, there is a LB or CB sitting right over the supposedly open short route with their hips leaning foward ready to drive on it. Do people really think Allen is turning these throws down for no reason? Apparently a lot of fans vastly underestimate the speed of NFL back 7 players and/or want to see all of our WRs destroy their lumbars. Allen did take one of those throws to Shakir yesterday, Shakir took a shot and gained a whopping 2 yards. If Allen hadn't taken that throw you can bet it would be one of those freeze frames making the rounds today.

The whole offensive structure stinks. Defenses are forming a wall of coverage right at the depth where they know our awful group of WRs are going to finish their routes. Then those WRs are just turning around and standing still. Meanwhile our supposed X WR is getting taken out of the game with basic 1v1 coverage so we can never punish defenses for selling out to stop the short routes. Our offense basically needs a 65% or better success rate from the run game to be able to function. 2nd and 10 might as well be 2nd and 30.

Dorsey's offense got way too boom or bust but at least it was fun to watch, even the lows were interesting. This offense is just boring and crappy to watch when it doesn't follow the exact game script it needs to be successful.

Well, I think we had better receivers last year.  Largely, that's because of all the injuries this year.  Cooper could at least good draw some attention away from Shakir and the TEs at times.  I'm not sure what scheme to run with this limited group, but we need to change things up because opposing defenses are scheming against our fairly obvious gameplan.  At the end of the day, we are still 6-3, but we need to prove we are a playoff team by winning at least 3 out of the next 4 games.

Yeah how funny were those things I said about Tarron Johnson a month and a half ago? You loved them. Now almost everywhere people are saying he’s lost a big step. And we are better off with Cam

Are you serious? Not even true? I get you follow my posts around and do this regardless.it’s frustrating. Is your position that our defense has been good? I’m very interested in hearing you say that actually
