They need to resign Thompson on a year deal and pick a LB in the top three rounds.  Bernard stinks and Milano is washed.

Bernard is push over..   He should not play because he wore "C"   Dorian and Shaq should start from now on.

42 and 45 are the fix. Obviously one guy is hurt. The only time our defense looks even decent is when Thompson and Williams are out there. This staff will do anything other than understand what works.

Bernard is possibly their worst defensive player. I am hoping it’s because he is playing through some injuries.

Milano WAS a superstar. Bernard started like a potential one. What happened? I had the same thought today. They don't do nothing. At all. I don't get it. DL are good enough to free them up. Is it schemes or have they completely lost it?

What’s Bernard’s dead cap for next year?  Any chance he can play safety instead of LB?

Milano is washed and Bernard (who has also regressed) is just straight up not a MLB even at his best. Need to add a real MLB next year and let Bernard compete with someone for WLB.

I said at the time of the extension that if we got the 2023 version of Bernard then his contract would be a bargain.

 

What we've gotten from him instead is someone who is a liability but doesn't make up for it by creating turnovers or being an effective blitzer. 

 

I have no doubt that Beane will panic and use a day 1 or early day 2 draft pick on a LB.
