4-5 years is the standard longevity of a top NFL roster.  
 

To get more requires excellent drafting from the GM and a coaching staff with the ability to adjust/evolve.

 

The Bills have been an elite QB carrying a mediocre franchise.  And now that he’s almost 30, he can’t do it anymore.

Instead we lost today, and our 2026 1st is more valuable to draft the next DL or linebacker to spend a season or two on IR.

For this year? Yes. We might string together enough wins to slide into a Wild Card spot. But this is not a Super Bowl built roster. It's as simple as that.

 

Great QB, great RB, pretty good Offensive Line. But when you have subpar pass catchers - all that gets cancelled out. We're one dimensional. If the running game isn't cooking (which is hard to do bc they know we're one dimensional) and/or we're playing from behind - it's over.

 

It doesn't matter if we're playing the 2-7 Miami Dolphins or the 3-6 Atlanta Falcons, if we're not off to a fast start with the running game scoring, it's doneso. Cannot expect to win a Championship that way.

They used a first on Diggs.   He was a legitimate #1 and he decided to force his way out.   They've used a 1st on a WR.

Aside from the X's and O's, what was going on in this week's preparation that we came out THIS F**** flat.

McDaniels out motivated this Fins team, over a supposed SB contender. Heads should roll tmrw. I thought firing McD after Atlanta woulda been totally foolish, now I dont care. 0 chance this team, with this current roster is doing s*** in playoffs.

 

I dont even care who you promote. Both Coordinators are trash. It might even be best for us to improve our draft position, not only for talent, but in helping try to lure in the best Coach/ staff that we possibly can
