Especially with the amount of missed time

Dude could never play another game and might still finish in my Top 50 favorite Bills players of all time.

Jeremy floated a funny topic.  Even though still an active player, place him as the legends of the game guy to intro us for the Bucs.  It was a creative idea.  Sal confirmed there are no rules against it.  Get him out there on crutches and the fans will go absolutely nuts.  I liked it.

Even more than Keith Ellison?

My guy Keith Ellison. Dude was 15 years ahead of his time. McDermott would have loved him.

Such a shame to lose him after that start. Him and Oliver on the field at the same time would be tought to defend. What could have been.

All is not lost though, get the injured DTs back, keep Bosa healthy and this line can still cause problems.

This man is a football player.  I'm more excited to see him come back after seeing him in 1 game than I was to see him play the 1st time

I have a funny feeling he'll be back and ready to play next fall. Achilles treatments have advanced alot recently.

He’ll be back mid season next. 6 game suspension this year, 6 game PUP next

Question for you or any others in the thread with an informed opinion. Is it more likely he returns in a shorter timeframe and/or closer to his pre injury abilities than a DB like Tre White?  Tre seems unlikely to ever return to form. They both utilize their legs differently of course. Hoecht  doesn’t need the same agility as a DB perhaps, but he needs power from his lower body. Any TBDers know of  other D lineman that returned from the same injury?
