I don't blame a team for going all in. However, it's going to take a minor miracle to beat three great teams at minimum with Jones at QB.

I perused the Indy message boards.  They're not too happy.   (well, the ones who understand value, etc)

That's what a team does when they're trying to win a Super Bowl. They're currently the 1 seed, so what better time to address a weakness NOW?

 

I was afraid wining against the Chiefs would convince Beane & McDermott they don't need to make any moves, but I disagree. I'd rather spend picks on an established good player than wait for next year & hope they draft well (and then wait even longer for those picks to maybe develop).

Holy cow the Jets fleeced them big time. Colts are all in on a SB run, but we just caught a glimpse of the old Daniel Jones versus TJ Watt and the Steelers. 3 picks and a miserable 13 QBR. I think they will eventually run into a buzz saw when they face a healthy Ravens or Bills. I don’t think they are the cream of the crop of the AFC despite their record. 
 

As far as the Jets and the AFCE as a whole…wow! Both NY & MIA are going to be primed to grab their future QBs as both will be picking very high.

Jones has been great this year. He had 20 TDS entering Sunday. He finally has an Oline and decent talent around him

My thoughts as well. It seems Colts are all in this year. But with Daniel Jones at QB?....If I were a Colts fan, I'd be a bit leery. Jones has been good, but he's also got Taylor to lean on. We just got a glimpse of the old Jones against the Steelers.

Ballard is a great GM and he's not afraid to be bold, but if Taylor goes down, this year he's going to regret this heavily.  Don't blame him for taking the swing though.
