Worrying set of injuries but hopefully more caution than anything. Cook clearly was not right in the 2nd half of the KC game but gutted it out. I saw Bosa shaking his hand out a few times so he probably played through his injury too.

Yea this is unfortunate that we’re getting pushed by the pats for the division or you could probably rest some guys in this one that are a bit banged up…division record is gonna be too important though I think

we’d probably win anyway without all those guys playing but idk how much you’d want to risk it

Coming off 27 carries this is to be expected.  I hold him out of practice until Friday.  With his work load I get Davis and Johnson more work vs Miami.  Even without an injury I would try to keep Cook under 15 carries this week.  If he is less then 80% I would hold him out.  This is an Oline and play-action game.  I think Davis can have a NYJ type performance.

Wednesday is typically a vet rest day anyway, I'd expect most of them back tomorrow in some form.

McDermott did say that none are for "veteran rest".

That's a brutal injury list.

Cook is the second most important player on this team but if there's any week we can afford to lose him it's this one. Dolphins secondary is abysmal.

He doesn't want to appear to be a big softy, I still suspect most of those missing practice today will be out there tomorrow.

Someone mentioned something earlier that tripped my trigger and I acted on it.  I almost never post negative feedback or comments on this message board but for whatever reason, I chose to do so this morning.  I do apologize if things went off the rails for a few posts and I hope this years playoff experience is vastly different than previous years.  For those of you who think this is the year McDermott doesn't shrink in the playoffs, I applaud your optimism.  As long as we have Josh, there is always a chance.

You can say what you want.  Just keep it in the proper threads.

That would be great.

Ever since the Jets last year I've wanted Ray Davis to hit that hundred yard game. Let cook start and get some touches or don't. But let him play, but give a lot of work to Ray Davis.

I think Davis or Johnson could go for 20 carries and 100 plus.  The displacement upfront doesn't change with Cook limited or out.  Takes the 40 plus plays off the table but still will be effective.  Play action will be open.

Dolphins still dangerous on offense with Achane, Waddle and their rejuvenated TE, so the defensive injuries a bit worrisome.

Offensively, I hope the pass game takes into a new gear with Palmer and Kincaid both healthy

These injuries are just unreal...I mean how many damn guys can get hurt each week?

As much as we want to complain, at least we aren't the 49ers.

There's a 100% injury rate in the NFL... I just want the season enders to impact players to stop happening like they have the last 2 weeks with Hoecht and Oliver.

Bosa needs some load management. He has been playing way too much.

Agreed.  Honestly I hope Ryan Nielsen has been working closely with Landon Jackson over the last several weeks and he improves because he's going to need to start playing, probably this week.

Not to worry tho!  We still have "Dolphin" Kincaid healthy 😂😂
