MikePJ76 Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM there are no words to explain whatever is happening to this defense with injuries. Never seen anything like it. Hoecht is now another free agent piece that either gets hurt or flames out for various reasons. miller got hurt and then was a spare part player, diggs was extremely expensive was a dud in the biggest games of the year and then forced his way off the team. Now hoecht missed 6 games and is gone for this year and probably most of next year. Who knows if he will ever be any good in the future, he might end up like miller after his knee injury. Just crazy stuff. Quote
JoshAllin Posted yesterday at 12:49 AM Posted yesterday at 12:49 AM The moment Hoecht got hurt, KC went for it knowing that their chances of completing a 4th and 17th went up 95%. The defense better realize after this what needs to be done Quote
PayDaBill$ Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM Posted yesterday at 12:51 AM (edited) Going from sitting out a 1/3 of the season to 110% = not really surprised Edited yesterday at 12:51 AM by PayDaBill$ Quote

Its extremely limiting what they can do and today in the dime they used williams and hoecht and it was great. now that is gone. Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM (edited) If he is out the fact that we had him for just under two games for the whole year is another remarkable setback for what happens to important players on this team, year in and year out. SageAgainstTheMachine Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM This absolutely sucks. He was making a difference out there. Suddenly Javon Solomon was getting snaps after Hoecht's exit and you could see the push decrease. 1 Quote
BigAl2526 Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM He may be ready by November 2026. He played 7 quarters this season. Quote

Talk about a chain of events. That timeout (along with the Hoecht injury obviously) tarnished the win for me a bit. An unfortunate reminder that we will probably never be able to make a Super Bowl run because our coach overthinks everything and repeatedly makes the same dumb decisions that cost the team. Hate to say it but only a matter of time before Bosa gets hurt, too. Another giant pile of crap. Hoecht has played 4 straight 17 game seasons plus a bunch of postseason games and has never missed a single game in the NFL. 1 1 1 3 Quote
BeastMaster Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM Posted yesterday at 12:53 AM LMAO The hyperbole with this guy is off the charts stupid Did he help the defense? Sure Was he the missing piece that was going to take us to the promised land? Absolutely freaking not 1 3 1 Quote
H2o Posted yesterday at 12:54 AM Posted yesterday at 12:54 AM Yeah, he was balling. This was the first thing I thought of though: Both anabolic steroids (performance-enhancing drugs) and corticosteroids (anti-inflammatory medications) can weaken tendons and ligaments, disrupt collagen structure, and increase the risk of injury or rupture. 1 Quote

Hoecht was a wrecking machine. Have you seen Solomon do anything even close to that. If Josh Allen goes down Mitch Trubisky doesn't magically become Josh Allen. Quote
