I love beating the Chiefs and I did predict a Chiefs win, but indicated in other forums we could win if we did certain things, which they did.

 

It is great, but honestly it tastes like so much ash.

 

in less than one week we’ve lost two great players for the season. Necessary players, from a mediocre defense that can’t afford it.

 

How do I know they can’t afford it?  Because for four straight years we’ve suffered catastrophic injuries to our defense by way of multiple All-Pros, Pro Bowlers and core players having their seasons ended that have been at the very root of our playoff futility.

This is kinda the goalpost move of the haters tbh…if wins against the chiefs only count if you do better than giving them a Hail Mary final drive opportunity to tie, they probably lose like 2% of their games lol 

 

I’m gonna fact check this but I they’ve lost like 4 two score games in the regular season (assuming their starters were playing) in 7.5 years and two of them were against Buffalo 😂 2018 -2020 were 16 game seasons so that’s 125 total games and 2 two score losses against non Buffalo teams.  Might need to knock a couple final week of season games off the total when starters weren’t playing  

 

If you wanna add in playoffs it doesn’t become any less crazy really…ends up being like 6 in about 146 games

They got knocked completely off their gameplan when the bills pounded it right down their throat and scored a boatload of points lol the lengths some of y’all go to give the team minimal credit are a bit surprising

It's not just that there are injuries, but when the injuries happen.  In-game injuries are extremely hard to work around.  Same goes for any late-season or playoff game injuries, even if they advance to the next round.  If the backup has 3 or 4 games to ramp up before it really counts they can learn from their mistakes and maybe not be as good as the guy they replaced, but not so bad that they are a liability.  As much as it sucks to lose Hoecht now, it would suck much worse to lose him in week 18.  And lately for the Bills, we seem to have regular late-season or playoff in-game serious injuries.

The predictable 3 runs up the middle into the arms of 7 linemen, the kicking a risky field goal (or taking the delay of game and punting) needs to go.  I dont believe KC does that and McDermott has a history of these kinds of stall-outs.

 

Need some sort of Allen rollout play where he can run, have someone for that little shove pass, or go down in emergency, at least on 3rd down.  You have the best offensive player in the nfl and you take him out of the game basically when the chips are in and you can end it.

Don't look now, but there is a real chance that the Chiefs miss the playoffs…they have a brutal schedule.  unfortunately, there’s a better chance that they are a wild card team, and we run into them sooner rather than later.

I was a complete nervous reck during the game.  Beating KC has become an obsession. 

 

This time we played really good defense for most of the game, sometimes even great defense.  Mahommes had one of his worst passing days ever, in no small part due to our defense today.

 

Hairston has guys covered like glue.  Bishop was amazing.   Losing Hoecht is a major loss.  

 

Allen, Cook 3, and Kincaid were all very good.

 

Play calling not great at times.

There’s a lot of so what we beat then in the regular season all the time.  Now we have beaten the ravens AND the chiefs. There a big deal. Also KC is buried in the west now. We might be able to get through the AFC without playing them. Also we might be the 1 seed AND KC is the 8 now. They have 2 tough games up in a row. They might have a fight to get in. Anyone not realizing this was huge is insane. Who has 2 wins better than us? Nobody.

   It was a three point game into the middle of the second quarter. 
   They didn’t start their best back and instead had Dalton chucking it from the start while it was still less than a score….. strip sack, interception and then it got out of hand. 
I’m not going to any lengths. 
   I guess I misinterpreted our run defense stats and rank going into that game
