Would it change your mind if we got a draft pick in return and saved $15M off our cap?

He’s due $50,000,000 the next two seasons. What kind of draft compensation would be offered to take

that on?

Someone who wants a top 10 DT when he is healthy.

Hate to see any player injured. Wish him a smooth recovery. But on the field, I really believe this is addition by subtraction. Maybe this gets Beane off his hands to go after Simmons or another vet.

Maybe, or maybe fans are just short memory ingrates. Rapp was quite good last year. If he has played with a knee issue this year, no wonder he was not performing well. Remember how a lot on this board were crapping on Spencer Brown when he played with a back injury. Yet the Bills brass gave him a huge new contract and he has been a star since.

Anyway, even if Rapp is not that good, losing him for the season is not good news, if for depth alone. Other players can get injured!

Shaq Thompson.  Arguably our best LB.  😭 And Milano will probably get hurt again in the 1st quarter (I hope I am wrong!)

Myself and others were a bit uncomfortable with Shaq assuming a bigger role just based on his recent injury history. In 2023 and 2024 injuries limited him to a total of 6 games.

The guy was playing hurt all season so everyone should cut him some slack.

We are cutting him slack.

People raggin on Rapp ?? …The guy was hurt since game 2…  may have had something to do with his performance.. ya think

Relevant to the discussion (at least AFAIC), his career earnings are a hair below $16 million.

Everything's gonna be alright.

First 3 rounds all safety.  We are set at WR

Yes, we're quietly getting better at wide receiver.

So quietly that it's almost impossible to notice.

There's where we disagree. Rapp was awful last year.

If Ed has any trade value, I would move him. He is a good player, but he is small and get injured

Great idea. Get rid of Ed Oliver, Josh Allen, James Cook  and Spencer Brown. That will make us feel that we're all macho and that we're doing something.

This year probably not much of an impact with him out

Last year he was by far our best safety but that's how it goes you play for 6 years to have one good season and right back to mediocrity

He's never getting any faster.. I think this is it for him in Buffalo

For sure.  I was a fan of him last season.  He’s not been the same guy in 25 as you know.  That injury mixed with his trigger made for some terrible angles this season.

Losing our best 1T-DT, outside WR and LB for Sunday - we can never be fully healthy against KC.

Still no new news on Dorian Strong either.

Wishing that Prater is good to go on Sunday.

I fear the worst about Strong. What a shame as he looked like he can be a real player. I hope I'm wrong.

Not sure that Rapp was quite good last year.

He was a below average safety; biggest problem being lack of speed.

Compensated for that by increasing the physicality of his hits...no matter which team they might be playing on. 😁
