Zerovoltz Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The Bills being the only team to have ever done it.....is it a point of pride for a Bills fan? Is it an important record even though the Bills lost all 4? The Chiefs have a chance to tie that record if they were to make it again this season. Besides the obvious...if KC makes a 4th in a row, it means the Bills didn't make it this year......but aside from that.....having that record be shared with another team make you mad? Relieved? Indifferent? 1 Quote

Indifferent? Obviously yes A record that has still never been broken despite the bills not winning any of them Winning four straight conference championships in the NFL is unprecedented and very hard to do against people you see more often AKA your conference Obviously in hindsight people would trade that for one super bowl win but it is absolutely something that has ultimate respect... Four straight AFC champions is a very big accomplishment Edited 7 hours ago by Buffalo716 4 Quote
beebe Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) McDermott guaranteed KC's inevitable demise earlier this year. A Bills-Chiefs game in Arrowhead seems unlikely at this point, but rest assured this clip will be played on the jumbotron pre kickoff if they do happen to meet. Edited 7 hours ago by beebe 1 Quote
QCity Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I'm completely indifferent to it. It's certainly not an accomplishment that you can use as a flex, because if you do, you know damn well what comments are coming next. 1 1 Quote

H2o Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They were good teams. It's an accomplishment for sure, but I don't really think about those years too much anymore. That run was over 30 years ago at this point. They should have gotten the first one. It snowballed after that. Then those Cowboys teams were basically unstoppable. 1 Quote
4merper4mer Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The Bills would go from “the only team to make four in a row” to “the only team to make four in a row without a pop star’s presence influencing the league into driving a narrative for money”. Sure it adds a few words but it would still be a unique achievement. 1 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Although bittersweet I've always viewed it as an accomplishment because no other team in NFL history has ever done it before. I can understand why some Bills fans don't care about it. As a fan of a team that's never won a Super Bowl the two major defining accomplishments of the franchise were the 4 straight Super Bowls and the greatest comeback in NFL history. The greatest comeback deficit was eclipsed a few years ago (I still think the Bills coming back in a playoff game was a greater comeback and story overall). It was sad to me when we lost that and I'll be honest if we lose the only team to make it to 4 straight Super Bowls I would be very sad about that too 1 1 Quote

Ray Stonada Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Having lived through and suffered through it, I’m still proud of the Bills for the incredible resilience to do that. I was in the crowd for the 1994 AFC championship game against the Chiefs. It was a lifetime memory. I was at that Super Bowl too, that was a lifetime memory too I would LOVE for the current Bills to deny KC from tieing the record. 1 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Maybe the chiefs need to make a 4th straight Super Bowl this year to break our curse and then we win one next year 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Go ahead and flame away, but the AFC was a far weaker conference during the Bills run. The AFC is the better conference now. If KC were to make four in a row now, it would be the greater accomplishment. Quote
Your Brown Eye Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It will lose its luster for sure if the Chiefs make it 4 in a row this year. It was one thing those 90's Bills players would hang their hats on that "it's a feat that no other team will ever do again", and here we are this year, a very good team once again (Chiefs) that can accomplish the same feat and make it 4 in a row and have a couple rings in the process. That will sting. Quote

thenorthremembers Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago Another team doing it doesnt take away from how great it was. 22 pitchers have thrown a perfect game, it doesnt take away from it being an awesome accomplishment. To summarize and quote the great Jay Cutler "Donnnttt Carrreee." Quote
T.E. Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago It's the only thing we have to hang our hat on after the comeback record fell. It's important we stop KC from going back. My two cents. 1 Quote

To summarize and quote the great Jay Cutler "Donnnttt Carrreee." But if the Chiefs do it then it becomes an entirely different narrative since theirs would come with Lombardi trophies. I hate, hate, hate saying this but if the Chiefs get to a 4th one I think we go back to being only known as the 4 time Super Bowl losers instead of the only team to go to 4 in a row Quote

My two cents. I don't think KC makes it back to the Super Bowl. I also don't think the Bills will be the ones to stop them. Those two games with the Broncos are must see TV. It will probably decide who wins that division. Quote
LabattBlue Posted 13 minutes ago Posted 13 minutes ago Well look at that…0.0volts trolling away. Where was this crap when the Chiefs were 0-2? Ooops…I forgot he is just here to talk football, not a troll. Yeah right. Quote
