I have a hypothesis re: Allen that checks a couple boxes

the theory makes more sense if theyve found out they cant have kids for whatever reason.  i absolutely hope thats not the case,  its a terrible feeling.  something sure seems off with Josh though.

He does seem distracted. This is bleak and nothing to joke about, but she could have had a miscarriage. That can really shake people up.

I don't know if anyone remembers but there was a great episode of Married with Children where Al puts a bet on a college game and the star QB falls in love with Kelly. In the end, as a favor to her dad, Kelly tells the QB he gets zero sex until his team wins the big game. The sexually frustrated QB then says "I'm gonna tear them apart".

 

In the end he gets injured before the game so Al takes his place, wins the game and says "I'm goin to Disney Land".
