KC seems to be anointed again, perhaps rightfully so. With no clear leader of the pack in either division, you have to bank on scheme and high leverage plays winning the day. Yet here we are, the vibe being somewhat different at the moment. Our season is very, very, far from over but with great expectations come great disappointment, which is where a lot of fans seem to be coming from. I'm just trying to get a general read on the fan base with this poll. Understood I don't have every option covered, try and pick the one you feel is most accurate.

I'll answer you after I've seen the Thursday injury report.  Kincaid going full all week and Palmer playing would have me feeling pretty good knowing that Spags is going to commit to shutting down Cook.  On the other hand if Kincaid is limited all week and Palmer doesn't play I have a b feeling about the game.

It's a more important game than I thought it would be at the beginning of the season.  I figured we could mark it as an "L" and it wouldn't matter much, because our schedule was pretty easy and I'm almost tired of the storyline that we always beat them in the regular to lose to them later.

But losing to the Pats and Falcons - in addition to now being 2nd place in OUR division - has changed my outlook on  this one.  We have left ourselves little margin for error if we want to win the division, and get one of the top seeds.  I think we can have a strong playoff run as a WC, but it would be much more uphill going that route.

I'm tired of moral victories during the regular season that don't carry over into the playoffs. We've lived off Josh's miracles long enough.

HOPEFUL for a Huge home DUB

Very happy for a national TV game. They can be run on and we have a history of both disappointment, but also surprising performances. This team does well when nobody believes in them. Detroit, KC, Baltimore last year........I'm usually a pessimist, but I think we will silence some critics this week (and I have no sound football logic to back that up outside of we can run on them).

I think that we will win.  We got our annual losing streak out of the way and now we are going to go on a run for a few weeks and stack Ws.  I think it will play out similarly to last year's game, where we will have a close, one score lead late and then score to go up 2 scores in the 4th.

If Kansas City does lose this game, they are in real danger of missing the playoffs.  They still have Denver X2, the Colts, the Chargers, the Texans and Dallas.  Denver looks to be legitimate, as do the Colts.  The Chargers have already beaten them once, albeit their rosters are in much different places now.  Dallas can score with anyone and the Texans may be figuring things out.

Their Jacksonville loss could really come back to bite them, and if we beat them too but don't win the East (which I think we still will) then that would be two teams that they would be fighting for a wildcard spot that would have head to head wins over them.

If the passing game looks like it has, especially in the last 3 weeks in particular, not good.

I think the Chiefs are going to make a point of stopping the run and forcing Josh to beat them.  I foresee lots of man coverage with a single high safety with Spags bringing many different blitz looks.  Josh and the Oline handled the blitz terribly against the Falcons.  The defense, which looked like hot garbage in the first half that game tightened up in the 2nd half and the offense still couldn't get it done. Cook was inexplicably not in the game for most of the 4Q even with it still being a one score game. Brady claims they can throw it when they need to and used Week 1 as his supporting evidence despite the 2 much more recent losses contradicting that.

I would be more surprised if we win this game than if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet. Also it doesnt matter in the long run as we see every year. But I’ll still rant.
