Time keeps ticking away and I am preparing more and more for another "This isn't fantasy football" quote from Beane while there have been several huge names already traded today in fantasy football like moves.

I remember a few years ago, when Beane was asked about doing nothing at the deadline and he said something about being burned in the past for making a panic move and didn't want to do that again.  He was clearly referring to Kelvin Benjamin.  Last year, he went ahead and pulled the trigger and gave up a third for a whole lotta nothin'.  I still hope he does something in the next hour...but I would not be surprised if it's a while before we see Beane make one of these deadline trades again.

They preach culture over names/attitude. That works to an extent, but I feel like the Rams are similar but far more willing to take swings if they believe it pushes them over the edge.

I wouldn't  hate it...not sure why the hate? He played pretty well last year, just not up to the contract after injury...as part of the 4 man rush package on 3rd down he could be impactful...move Groot or AJ inside

IMO the offense was the issue.  They are giving up solid pieces of their D.  Williams on the right team will be a force.

why would Benjamin be viewed as a failed trade? An org that had a 17 year playoff drought was able to kill partly because of his contributions that year which in turn lifted the pressure on the team on must win in following years which allowed Josh to properly develop. Yea it would've been nice for KB to be a larger part of the future, but for such a seminal season and moment it was a solid pick that did help move the needle.
